Hive Open Mic #194 - Carol of the Bells (Christmas Piano Cover by @sanjalica)

Hi guys!
And here we are in the last week of December, as this week's theme says. I don't know about you, but for me this year went by very quickly. I will remember this year as a good one, and I hope that the next one will be even better:)
For this occasion, I decided to play the song Carol of the Bells. I first heard it a long time ago in the movie Harry Potter and I think it even appears in the movie Home Alone. I've seen a lot of covers of this composition on TikTok and people are really talented.

But as far as I have read, the origin of this track goes back to the pre-Christian era and ancient Ukrainian culture. Back then, the New Year was celebrated in the spring. People blessed each other for a good harvest and prosperity in their homes, singing ritual songs.
