¿Es solo un pasatiempo?

My wife and I have been gardening enthusiasts for several years. In fact we have our own family garden where every year we sow and grow corn, pumpkins, different vegetables and different berries. Not only is it a good hobby and great exercise for the body, mind and soul, but it also gives us the opportunity to harvest different organic produce for our family's consumption. We like to be outdoors, the sound of birds, but also the graceful flight of bees.

Beekeeping, contrary to what some people think, requires dedication - a lot of dedication, and love for these little beings. Not only are they funny but they are tireless workers who provide us with delicious honey for our toast. Bees are essential to nature in general and without exaggeration – they are essential to human existence. Bees are largely responsible for the pollination not only of flowers but also of many fruit trees and vegetables plants.

Beekeeping is therefore more than a hobby. Without bees our very existence is in danger. If you can't take care of an Apiary then take care of the environment, don't use so much pesticides and don't kill them. Bees are harmless. They only attack if they feel in danger. Remember, they and we are part of an ecosystem that benefits each other.

Desde hace varios años mi esposa y yo somos aficionados a la jardinería. De hecho tenemos nuestro propio huerto familiar en donde cada año sembramos y cultivamos maíz, calabazas, diferentes verduras y también bayas. No solo es un buen pasatiempo y ejercicio para el cuerpo, la mente y el alma sino que también nos brinda la oportunidad de cosechar diferentes frutos orgánicos para el consumo de nuestra familia. Nos gusta estar al aire libre, el sonido de las aves, pero también la el vuelo gracioso de las abejas.

La apicultura, contrario a lo que algunos piensan, requiere dedicación - mucha dedicación y amor por estos pequeños seres. No solo son graciosos sino que son incansables trabajadores y nos proveen de deliciosa miel para nuestro pan tostado. Las abejas son esenciales para la naturaleza y sin exagerar - son esenciales para la existencia humana. Las abejas son en gran parte responsable de la polinización no solo de las flores sino también de muchas arboles frutales y hortalizas.

Por lo tanto la apicultura es más que un pasatiempos. Sin abejas nuestra existencia está en peligro. Si no puedes cuidar de un Apiario entonces cuida del medio ambiente, no uses tanto insecticida y no las mates. Las abejas son inofensivas. Solo atacan si se sienten en peligro. Recuerda, ellas y nosotros formamos parte de un ecosistema que se beneficia mutuamente.
