hello openmic friends, best wishes to all of us. always grateful that we can still meet here and always give positive things and give our best work with our respective efforts. and I'm @samuelstifen from Indonesia and domiciled in the city of Medan. and last week I felt very satisfied giving a good performance, and today I will also give an even better performance. By the way, this weekly #openmic doesn't feel so fast because it has entered its 184th week.

I think our week's theme can present this theme more broadly, because feelings can spread anywhere, it can be to parents, it can be to girlfriends, or to friends.
because I think it's not for one person, but for various other people.
When we interact with someone comfortably, we can definitely feel it.
there is an attraction to each other which gives rise to feelings.
but for today I want to convey my feelings to someone. It wasn't a boyfriend or friend, but my feelings for my mother.

Today what I sing is a song called Ibu which was created by one of the great musicians from Indonesia named Iwanfals.
This song was released in 1988.
Iwanfals is a musician who is still active in the world of music, he still performs here and there and is now 62 years old.
Actually his name is Virgiawan Liestanto who is famous by his stage name Iwan Fals, he is a singer, musician, songwriter and critic who is one of the legends in Indonesia.
The songs tell a lot about life, politics, family, love and friendship and many others.

and by the way I brought a song called mother, this really touched my heart and mind.
and the lyrics of this song are the same as my life.
Until now, what I feel in this song is the sacrifice of our mother who raised us and struggled to earn a living and send us to school until we grew up. and we will never be repaid for any of our services.
so that the treasures we give will never be replaced.
Mothers do not need wealth from their children, all mothers need is love, a child's love for his mother will last forever.
Maybe when I'm 21 years old, my goal is just to spend time with my mother and make her old age happy now.
because we never know when someone will die and that includes us too.
I just want to spend time alone with him. Hopefully we can create a feeling of love for our mothers.
Therefore, it is better for us to do it alone rather than with a girlfriend or friend.
because for me mother is number 1.

and this song tells the same story as my presentation.
A child will not be able to repay his mother for her services, even if it is exchanged for property and wealth. Even when they are adults, mothers really hope for their prayers so that their children will be successful and happy.
Surely a mother will continue to pray for her child forever for the best for her child.
and also he always prays for me, I am sure that my sustenance and health are thanks to my mother's prayers too, I just believe that. because mothers just want their children to be okay.
I also want to convey one message, never be disobedient to our mothers, it will hinder our fortune and our lives.
