I'm @samuelstifen, I'm very satisfied with my performance last week and very happy to be given the opportunity to choose a theme. I hope this openmic event goes smoothly. I hope we can also be more enthusiastic about creating. I also know that doing work as part of our hobby feels very boring, It's tiring. I hope we can stay enthusiastic about channeling our hobbies here.

For Hive Open Mic 195, the theme follows: "Amistad." In English it means: "Friendship". This theme was chosen by : @nazatpt .

I would like to thank the theme selectors, this theme is very impressive.
In my opinion, friendship may be an ordinary word, but the meaning of friendship is very big, but unfortunately there must be separation when you have to choose your path in your future.

I also remember my friend, that for me every meeting there would be no separation, in the end my perception of this was wrong, I instead accepted the release of my friend who had to go to pursue his future.
I rarely heard from him there, I didn't know he never contacted me, I can only understand that every human being has their own path.

and for week 195 I performed an Avenged Sevenfold song entitled So Far Away which I covered with guitar, maybe it's rare for me to cover guitar, today I hope all my friends will enjoy my performance.

and this song turned out to be after I traced the meaning of the story of this song. The lyrical verses are a tribute to their drummer, Jimmy "The Rev" Sullivan, who died in December 2009.

As previously reported by Rollingstone magazine, Jimmy "The Rev Sullivan" died due to an overdose of drugs and alcohol.

the guitarist, namely Synyster Gates, in an interview on Avenged Sevenfold's official YouTube channel said that in fact the verses of the song were actually written or created in memory of his grandfather who had died.

However, following the death of Jimmy "The Rev" Sullivan, the lyrics of this song were slightly changed because Avenged Sevenfold also wanted to commemorate the passing of their beloved drummer in this song.

The words "So Far Away" are used as the title and repeated throughout the song, to indicate that the Avenged Sevenfold band members really miss Jimmy's presence.

However, because Jimmy has died, it feels like Jimmy is so far away and will definitely never come back.
This song was released in 2010 after a year of the drummer's departure, everything felt destroyed when their friend from childhood had to be called first by God.

seeing the members of Avenged Sevenfold who had to endure the disappointment of piercing pain and sadness in their lives, remembering me after my friend left at the age of 17, the friend I considered my own brother, finally had to leave first, I was very devastated at that time, within a week I just cried , contemplating and being silent, I hope my hope for him is always peace in his heart and comfort in his new place.
In the end I realized that I believe that every meeting has a farewell, whether it's farewell in death or leaving for something you want to achieve. But even though it has to go, make it still a precious moment. We have gone through difficult things and are happy together. Because we We can't force someone to stay, because we have to accept it for our happiness and that of our friends.
