A continuación, mi informe y análisis personal del torneo de ajedrez en inglés y español. Los idiomas están escritos uno al lado del otro con la imagen de cada posición etiquetada para su fácil localización. Se utiliza la abreviatura de caballo "K" en contraposición a la notación española "c". La traducción se hizo al español usando DeepL y espero que veas más allá de los errores y disfrutes del artículo.

The HiveChess weekend concluded yesterday with the chess brothers league season 2 round 7. The tournament is a very difficult one as it is the tournament with the most players. You can find details about the season 2 ,the rules and everything you need to know Here

It was the penultimate round and all players were hoping to stick their place higher up in the rankings. This article talks about my games and how I performed.

Era la penúltima ronda y todos los jugadores esperaban pegar su lugar más arriba en la clasificación. Este artículo habla de mis partidas y de mi rendimiento.

MY GAMES || Mis juegos de ajedrez

My first game was against @eliaschess333. It was a pirc defense and I played the classical line with 6.Be2

The game went well for long but i had a very strong pass pawn on the a file. But black held well till 33.Bg7

The sequence beginning with 34.Qe8+ with ideas showed in the diagram won the first game for me.

I won my second game in a very nice fashion too. I felt I was going to do well in the tournament when I won the third game against the eventual tournament winner @eniolw , If you watch the video above,you can see that i was very nervous playing the game. It began with

I was very surprised at my opponent choice of opening, but as a strong player that he is,I expected him to play it well and he did that very well and as at move 18.Qc4 I felt uncomfortable with my position.

Me sorprendió mucho la elección de la apertura de mi oponente, pero como jugador fuerte que es, esperaba que la jugara bien y lo hizo muy bien y como en la jugada 18.Qc4 me sentí incómodo con mi posición.

I did well to hold the position and like my first game, I had another passed pawn on the a-file, he had his,
but mine looked more threatening, I later won the game but I missed something here. After move 34.Kh7? What should white have played?

I finished 4th position and lost two games, both were against the 2nd and 3rd place finishers. The both were painful loses. Here is the second one that pained me more because it was in my scotch pet line. After move 12.Nxe4 I felt I was better and should get a winning attack.

But with very bad play by me, the position changed and I couldn't stop an impending danger after the move 17.Qf5

I tried saving the position but I couldn't, below is my tournament statistics in an image provided by the chess website. I had a performance of 2441+ and I played opponents with average rating of 2227+ . I had fun overall and I enjoyed my games.

In Conclusion... En conclusión....

I enjoyed the fact that the tournament was competitive and love it when I perform well too.
