It's week #176 on Hiveopenmic. I am @rukkie. In line with this week's theme "Gratitude" chosen by @ernesto6402 , I will be presenting a song by Don Moen titled "Give Thanks".

I chose this song because it inspires me to be grateful to God in any situation I find myself. I could remember a time when a very close friend and neighbor of mine was involved in an accident. When we visited her at the hospital, we were all just thanking God even when her situation had a 50/50 chance. The atmosphere there was of gratitude to God, we were all just saying "Thank God". In the end she survived.

I believe that when we give thanks, we acknowledge that GOD is good and HE is always working for our good, even in difficult circumstances.

Gratitude helps us to focus on what matters most in life. It's not just about saying the right words but having a heart that is filled with gratitude.

Es la semana #176 en Hiveopenmic. Soy @rukkie. En línea con el tema de esta semana "Gratitud" elegido por @ernesto6402 , voy a presentar una canción de Don Moen titulada "Give Thanks".

Elegí esta canción porque me inspira a ser agradecido con Dios en cualquier situación en la que me encuentre. Puedo recordar un tiempo cuando una amiga muy cercana y vecina mía estuvo involucrada en un accidente. Cuando la visitamos en el hospital, todos dábamos gracias a Dios incluso cuando su situación tenía un 50% de posibilidades. El ambiente era de gratitud a Dios, todos decíamos "Gracias a Dios". Al final sobrevivió.

Creo que cuando damos gracias, reconocemos que DIOS es bueno y que ÉL siempre trabaja por nuestro bien, incluso en circunstancias difíciles.

La gratitud nos ayuda a centrarnos en lo que más importa en la vida. No se trata sólo de decir las palabras correctas, sino de tener un corazón lleno de gratitud.
