Hello Hivers
Last weekend I usually always went for a walk in the afternoon, but yesterday it continued to rain from morning to evening, so I just spent time at home and did some home activities, until afternoon came, my mother's screams startled me, I thought he had an accident or something, but it turned out a group of large caterpillars attacked his plants, he was really hysterical when he saw this
Daphnis nerii, soldier moth, or oleander hawk-moth is a moth of the family Sphingidae as described by Carl Linnaeus in the 10th edition of the Systema Naturae in 1758.

I don't know where this animal came from, even though the previous day all my mother's ornamental frangipani were still fine, I was surprised to see that all 8 frangipani stems had been eaten by a group of caterpillars, only a few leaves remained per tree.
This caterpillar is very big, even bigger than my thumb, it's natural that my mother screamed and jumped up and down when she saw it, and to be honest I was also a little amused to see it, especially the mouth, it has very scary teeth, like aliens in movies
This is another caterpillar which is also part of their group, although the color is different but the shape is still the same, it has a spiderman mark on its head, maybe they are Spiderman's minions who attacked the earth😅
Above are the heads and tails of these caterpillars, on the one hand I really wanted to touch them, but on the other hand I was also very amused, and finally I let them continue their work, maybe they were really hungry
I don't know the total number of them, but on the last Cambodian stem there were about 10 caterpillars consisting of various sizes and had grass-seeking machines in their mouths, believe it or not in a matter of seconds they could eat half of the leaves of this flower, and strangely enough, when when they eat the sound can be heard clearly, it's really scary
The last picture shows the condition of my mother's plants, and this morning I saw they were no longer here, I think they are full, and fortunately the flowers can still be saved, even though many of the leaves are missing
I also videoed this moment, and you can see in the video below how fast their mouths are when eating the leaves
The video above can explain everything, and here is the source of the song that I added to the video
That's all I can share for this time, thank you and see you again
