Each day we wake up, get centered, and evaluate our situation. This is a normal and healthy process for everyone in most cases. What I propose is that we allow it to happen and then spend a period of time rationally explaining to ourselves what the actual situation is in as dispassionate a way as possible to counter the effects of 'normalization.' We must actively deprogram ourselves and it's not easy.
