"Shelter at Home! - 06" by Richard F. Yates & Mariah Yates

Howdy HUMANS! (And others…) Mariah and I have FINALLY gotten around to recording our sixth episode of our rambling, difficult to understand, somewhat pointless (as all good art should be) audio show! We got on a tear this time and ended up recording for close to 50 minutes! (I wouldn’t blame you if you don’t make it all the way to the end of the recording---unless you’re Richard O’Brien, and then I EXPECT you to finish!!!) This episode has actually been recorded for a couple of days, but I’ve been feeling particularly fragmented, wigged out, scattered, distracted, and caught in a negative-reality-inversion lately, so I didn’t have the focus or energy to type all this STUFF up and get the show edited and posted. Here’s to me actually FINISHING something! (Hoorah!)

That’s a LOT of notes! We really got on a nostalgia trip in this one, especially talking about old candy and visits to the local corner store. (Why didn’t I SAVE more stuff from when I was young???) What do YOU remember from YOUR childhood that you miss??? There are so many things from mine that I will probably never get to see again…but that’s okay. Best not to live in the past!
