Hello everyone, good day and welcome to my blog, this is Afritunes week 107.
This for my week_107 entry, I present to us a worship medley of "I Have No Other God" by the legendary Nathaniel Bassey and Osuba re by Bukola Bekes. A lot of songs were ringing in my head and I decided to pick these two old but expressive songs that has blessed and touched lives globally. I am a fan of Nathy's music and "I Have No Other God" happens to be among his first songs I loved so much. The song declares God as the highest and the reasons why we should cling to only Him.
The second song "Osuba re" by Bukola Bekes employs us to give all praises and adoration to the the highest one seated upon the throne. God is the greatest and He deserves our praise and worship. This song happens to be my favorite Yoruba music because of how powerful I connect with the every part of the song during worship, there are so many other Yoruba songs and I hope to explore and learn more of them..
