"This is me" is a the Hit song track for the American musical television film: Camp Rock in the year (2008), which was directed by Matthew Diamond .
The song is A rock song that expresses realization of one's potential and bringing out the star in us without holding it back or thinking of what people might say or do. When you start believing in yourself and what you can do, nothing can hold you back.

So I chose this song because it a motivates you to believe in yourself and see the star in you, don't let anything or anyone one hold you back, you are meant to be great.

Demi Lovato and Joe Jonas both star in the Camp rock movie.
I have known Demi for quite some time now, I think it was through the camp rock movie that I got to discover her.
