AFRITUNES WEEK 120 {ADONAI} COVER BY @OLUTHOMAS

I am @Oluthomas, and I am excited to be taking part in the Afritunes Community weekly contest for week 120. As this week's post, I'll be sharing a cover of Pst. Nathaniel Bassey's song "Adonai." I am grateful for God's grace in the life of one of my favorite vocalists from my childhood, Pastor Nathaniel Bassey. His songs honor and worship God, and they are overflowing with the spirit.

"Adonai" is a song of praise and worship. The song's lyrics define God as Adonai, which meaning "Lord" or "Master." Only the name of Jesus is to be adored from the rising to the setting of the sun. While there are other identities and titles, kingdoms and kings that exist, only God's Kingdom and His kindred will live forever.

Since He is God and the ruler of our life, nobody can oppose His decisions or close doors that He opens. Nobody can stop Him when He chooses to uplift a man or bless a nation. That is the God He is, all-powerful and loving. There's none like Him. Let all the earth honor and honor Him since He is God in and of Himself. The song is informing us of this.

Nevertheless, nobody can replace God; Satan attempted to do so and learned this the hard way. Nobody can stand against him and escape punishment. Let us honor and glorify Him alone, as He alone is deserving of praise. Honor to Jesus
