Deadpool & Wolverine is an upcoming American superhero film featuring Marvel Comics characters Deadpool and Wolverine. Produced by Marvel Studios, Maximum Effort, and 21 Laps Entertainment, and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, it's set to be the 34th installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), following the success of Deadpool (2016) and Deadpool 2 (2018). Directed by Shawn Levy and written by Ryan Reynolds, Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick, and Zeb Wells, the film stars Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool and Hugh Jackman as Wolverine. The storyline explores Deadpool's impact on the MCU alongside Wolverine. Wade Wilson, facing a midlife crisis and professional setbacks, retires as Deadpool to become a used car salesman. However, when the world is threatened, he must dust off his katanas. Scheduled for release in the United States on July 26, 2024.
