Ghostbusters Frozen Empire, directed by Gil Kenan and co-written with Jason Reitman, is the highly anticipated sequel to Ghostbusters: Afterlife (2021) and the fifth installment in the iconic Ghostbusters franchise. Set in the heart of New York City, the story follows the Spengler family as they reunite with the original Ghostbusters at the legendary firehouse. Together, they unveil a top-secret research lab aimed at advancing ghost-busting technology. However, their plans take a sinister turn when an ancient artifact unleashes a malevolent force, threatening to plunge the world into a second Ice Age. The star-studded cast includes Finn Wolfhard, Mckenna Grace, Paul Rudd, Carrie Coon, Celeste O’Connor, and Logan Kim reprising their roles, along with Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, Annie Potts, and William Atherton returning to their beloved characters.
