Magnus Carlsen sigue siendo el campeón del mundo de Ajedrez tras derrotar 7,5 a 3,5 puntos al ruso Ian Nepomniachtchi, en la partida 11 del duelo disputado en Dubai el día de hoy Nepo cometió un error suicida en una posición igualada que fácilmente pudo terminar en tablas, en la siguiente posición

Nepo con blancas y Carlsen con negras. Lo que más me sorprendió de todo esto es que Nepo necesitando salir a ganar opta por jugar una apertura italiana lo cual no es lo más agresivo que exista con blancas y más allá de eso sabiendo que Carlsen no iba a jugar a ganar porque el empate le servía según lo declarado por él mismo. En esta posición el ruso juega g3 atacando la Torre de f4 y acá se acabó el mundial de ajedrez, la partida duró otras jugadas más pero ya no había nada que hacer. Nepo no tenía nada mejor que aceptar un empate, lo que significa que tendría que ganar los tres partidas restantes sí o sí. Pero Nepo se lanzó a por todas con 22.Dc2 Tf4 23.g3??, un tercer y último ejemplo de los errores puntuales que han condenado por completo al ruso en Dubai.
