Preserving sanity in this world is not easy, especially if intolerance is a recurring factor in the mind.
In my case, there are things that I find unacceptable, unpleasant and even sad from the beginning. Things like garbage in a river, on a beach or in some place where sacred nature prevails seem to me the most aberrant and pathetic things of our unconscious and degraded human society. Of course, my intention is not to generalize at all, I really do not know how the social system of other countries would be; but it is undeniable that as a race we have contributed and executed to the destruction of our beautiful planet.

We spent a few weeks discussing the idea of going to the outskirts of the city, in order to get to a place where my partner's cousin claimed to have a house next to a river. The idea seemed fascinating, creative and enthusiastic, so we decided to go to this place on Tuesday. In fact, we made the short trip, which by private car would not take us twenty minutes to get there. I took some pictures of the road from the window of the car, noticing how the mountains became greener as we advanced towards the place.

The drive, as I said, was really short - I really enjoy car rides! That's why I try to squeeze every second looking out the window.
When we arrived at the place it turned out to be a very small place, it looked more like a village with some nice houses; reminding me of the village where I lived in my childhood. When we arrived we were greeted by this cute little street dog! Isn't he cute?

The truth is that we arrived very tired. Before going to the place, I had to do a few things in the city like looking for cash and buying some food for the days we would be staying. As I mentioned, we arrived tired, but I had the intention and excitement to go to the river! So I could take some pictures and record a song in such a wonderful context as the current of a river. Believe me, I didn't expect what I was going to find ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, when we got to the river I found a lot of garbage thrown in it! God, you can't imagine how much anger, impotence and disgust I felt. I had found a beautiful river (and this is where I explain the first paragraph where I talk about the things I do not tolerate) a place blessed by nature, by the creation of the supreme, but stained with the disgusting plastic bags, bottles and all kinds of waste. Sure, the river was not polluted at all, the water is really clear and clean, but people disrespect its beauty with the filth in their heads, which manifests itself in deliberately littering such a unique place. Obviously, I didn't sit idly by, so I decided to go back to the house, get some bags and pick up as much garbage as possible to clean up the river a bit, or at least the part where people bathe.

Believe me, I almost filled the black bag and before that I had filled two small bags. This is something that really is a great shame, both for the world and for the people who do it. I would like to say something and I apologize to those who hang around here on Hive, I can't generalize but I can say that our society is extremely immature, disrespectful and ungrateful. How is it possible that having such a beautiful piece of land with nature as Venezuela we are so ignorant and irreverent as to destroy our gifts, and it is not the first time I see this, this is not new, I see it every time I go to a beach, a casada or a mountain; the only place where there is law and they can not litter because there is surveillance is in the Avila (which is a hill that surrounds the city of Caracas) and yet there are times in which I have found garbage in that place.

As I said, I can not generalize much less, but in this system has not been instilled any kind of education and value, it seems that people around here like to live in filth. They can say whatever they want, they can call me disrespectful by talking bad about the Venezuelan society (which I don't care ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha) but don't you think that the real disrespect is being done by them as a community by destroying such paradisiacal sites? The saddest thing is that many countries do not enjoy this kind of nature, but we who have it decide to throw shit on it. You don't know how much rage I had inside me, how much impotence of not being able to say anything, because if I do, people will only insult me (it has already happened to me ha, ha, ha, ha, ha). But well, looking on the bright side, I had the opportunity to do a service to Mr. river, which for me was a huge pleasure despite my anger; I enjoyed a lot trying to help the nature I love.

When I finished, I decided to enjoy the place. I took some pictures of the beautiful river. The water was warm, its fluidity caressed my soul, its purity nourished my heart, its beauty captivated my eyes and its sound relaxed my body.

I confess that I had many problems with my family, but I thank them for having instilled in me beautiful things, different things like courage, compassion and respect for nature. I would be incapable of littering in such a place, I can only take care of them and enjoy them.

It turned out to be a very special day! There is a part of the river where they made a small dam to create a pool for people to swim and dive in; obviously I couldn't leave without taking a dive! Of course, the dive went wrong and I broke my foot... Naaaa lie 🤣🤣🤣🤣 But what did happen to me was that I landed on my feet and hurt the soles of my feet a little bit.

I must confess that I really like to post in this #q-inspired community, I feel that it is a space to share music but, beyond that, it is a space to integrate inspiration and experiences fused to music and its creative process, learning or execution.

Regarding the song. I was researching who its composer is, but I think it's one of those songs that you don't know exactly who did it 🤣. I saw on the internet that its composer was a certain "Miguel Molino" but I searched among his compositions and the song was not there. I saw other sources that said that the song is by a group called "Happy Banda", the point was that I think there are many who claim credit for the composition. I put that the song is by the artist Shimshai because he was the person from whom I learned this version of the song. His lyrics are a poem dedicated to the earth and water, seen in a mystical and healing way.

    So much for today.
I hope you enjoyed this representation of what my experience was like.
    Until the next song!
