This is not a retro game, when I say it is a nostalgic game is because it evokes those times when I watched anime. Saint Seiya: Soldiers' Soul was released in 2015 for Windows and PS4, it is a perfect example of how to make a game follow the canonical story almost perfectly, in fact, as you advance through the different scenarios show you the context and the reasons why you got to that fight chronologically according to the manga and anime.

Este no es un juego retro, cuando digo que es un juego nostálgico es porque evoca a aquellas épocas en las que veía el anime. Saint Seiya: Soldiers' Soul fue lanzado en el año 2015 para Windows y para PS4, es una muestra perfecta de como se hace que un juego siga a la historia canónica de forma prácticamente perfecta, de hecho, mientras avanzas por los diferentes escenarios te muestran el contexto y los motivos por los cuales llegaste a esa pelea de manera cronológica de acuerdo al manga y al anime.

One of the things I liked is that it shows us all the chapters or sagas simultaneously so you can choose which one you want to play, that is, you don't have to unlock each saga chronologically, so you can go to the Hades chapter from the first moment. However, I'm one of those who prefer to advance as the story progresses.

From the first moment I noticed that it is a very complete game, it has several languages both in text and audio and the dialogues are usually quite extensive, so obviously the intention is that we know and we get involved in the story.

Una de las cosas que me gustó, es nos muestra todos los capítulos o sagas de manera simultánea para elijas cual quieres jugar, es decir, no tienes que ir desbloqueando cada saga cronológicamente, por lo que puedes ir al capítulo de Hades desde el primer momento. Sin embargo, soy de los que prefieren ir avanzando conforme a la historia.

Desde el primer momento pude percatarme de que es un juego muy completo, tiene varios idiomas tanto en texto como en audio además de que los diálogos suelen ser bastante extensos, por lo que evidentemente la intención es que conozcamos y nos involucremos en la historia.

The graphics are very good and the fluidity of the movements in the fights is quite acceptable. The techniques of the characters are identical to those of the anime, in fact, I would say that they are better since being a video game they are more colorful. The gameplay is quite comfortable, the distribution of the buttons is quite logical and allows the fights, combos and techniques to be easy to execute.

What I share with you today are just two sample fights, but I would like to organize myself in the future to bring you the most important and relevant fights of the different sagas. By the way, in the second fight I play the "Golden Combat" mode and this one allows us to select the golden knights with their divine armor, so it has no waste at all.

Los gráficos son muy buenos y la fluidez de los movimientos en las peleas es bastante aceptable. Las técnicas de los personajes son idénticas a las del anime, de hecho, diría que son mejores ya que al ser un video juego éstas tienen más vistosidad. La jugabilidad es bastante cómoda, la distribución de los botones es bastante lógica y permite que las peleas, combos y técnicas sean fáciles de ejecutar.

Lo que hoy les comparto son solo dos peleas de muestra, pero me gustaría en un futuro organizarme para traerles las peleas más importantes y relevantes de las diferentes sagas. Por cierto, en la segunda pelea juego la modalidad “Combate de Oro” y esta nos permite seleccionar a los caballeros dorados con sus armaduras divinas, así que no tiene ningún tipo de desperdicio.
