One of the meanings of the word "Deliver" is "to set free."

Deliverance is a process, not a one-time experience. The seed of righteousness needs time to develop, grow and ripen.

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: the old has gone, the new is here! - 2 Corinthians 5:17

Such people no longer find satisfaction in dealing with the same old groups they used to run around with. Everything about them changes. From their dress code to the way they respond to certain situations that used to bother them.
