1. Get right with Yahweh.

2. All righteous wars are defensive in nature.

3. Offer peace!

4. Do not destroy crops & agricultural land. (based on Deuteronomy 20:19-20)

5. Universal participance.

6. Leaders are held accountable before Yahweh and the people.
