Hey everyone. This is the second time that I am posting in here. The first time I was not aware of the rules of this community. But after some guidelines, now I was ready to post.
It was Friday. And I want to make something with my hands. So I told my mama to take some rest from cooking today. I mostly like green vegetables which are not overcooked. They are also healthy. So I decided to make capsicum 🫑 with potatoes.
Let's start.
•Half Kg potatoes 🥔
•Half Kg capsicum 🫑
•3 green chillies
•One Tomato 🍅
•Three medium-sized onions 🧅
•One medium-sized garlic 🧄
•Spices.(One tablespoon salt. One tablespoon of red chilies. Half a tablespoon of black pepper. Half a tablespoon mix spices. Half tablespoon of red chili flakes)
•Half cup Oil
First of all, I started to cut garlic. I took one medium-sized garlic and peeled it with the help of a knife 🔪.
After that, I peel some Onions and cut them into small pieces. I know how to cook but my mother was guiding me. Hahah.
Now my onion and garlic are ready. I put them into a small dish.
Now it was the turn of potatoes. I picked the knife up and started to peel them. I do have not a specific cutter so I used a simple knife to peel them.
Now I started to cut them into small pieces. I cut all the potatoes in equal size.
After cutting the potatoes I started to cut capsicum. They were about 4 to 5. I cut them into different shapes. Haha 😅. I am not a perfect cook.

Here a moye moye happened to me. I take a cutter board inside but I forget to cut on it. So my mother told me to cut on it. Only green chilies and tomatoes were left. So I cut them on the cutter board.

Now my cutting procedure was finished. Now I went to the kitchen. Burn the burner. Take a pot and add some water to it. After adding water I put onions and garlic in water and cook them on low to medium flame.
Here A strategy happens to me. I was washing potatoes and the water fell on my clothes. Seeing this my brother said Moye Moye. We laugh a lot at it. Then I changed my clothes.
When the onions and garlic were fully merged in water I lowered the burner flame.
At this stage, I add some oil in a pot. It was about half a cup of oil. After adding oil I fry them for 5 minutes.
When it smelled good I put cut tomato and chillis in it and again fry for 4 to 5 minutes.
After frying them I added spices to them. The quantity of spices has been added to the ingredients part. You can read from there.

After adding spices I cook them for 4 minutes on low flame. It smelled good.
At this stage, I first add capsicum. Because capsicum takes more time than potatoes.
I cooked capsicum for 6 minutes. When the spices were merged into it I added potatoes.
Everything was added to it. So I mix them very well for 3 to 5 minutes. I fry them on medium flame 🔥. And cover it for 8 minutes.
My mama was saying that put some water in it. It will cook fast. But I like half-cooked vegetables. I don't like overcooked food. So I don't add water.
After some time I check it. And it was cooked as I imagined. Green capsicum was looking beautiful on it. I think to look matters.
Well, my capsicum is ready now. I will eat it. Heheh.
