I saw her die, she died in my arms, it was not easy, but I was able to say goodbye to her, thanking her for all the moments we had lived and I told her how much I loved her. It was hard, my daughter did not have time to say goodbye and that was what hurt her the most.

Hoy quiero compartirles de como llegó mi negrita laila a nuestras vidas, esa de cuatro patitas que me llena de felicidad, todos los días de mi vida, en el mes de enero del año 2022 perdimos a una loba llamada vela, a quién amabamos con el alma, su perdida trajo con ella mucho dolor, tristeza, depresión, fueron muchos los meses para poder superar la perdida de esta perrita, como al mes de que ella muriera llegó un sobrino a la casa con lalila en mano, tenía un mes de nacida y le dijo Nani te traje esta perrita para que te alegré la vida y alivies un poco la perdida de vela, realmente dude en aceptarla porque no quería volver a sufrir, pero más pudo el sentimiento de ver a mi hija llorar día tras dia por su perrita. Yo la Vi morir, ella murió entre mis brazos, no fue fácil, pero pude despedirme de ella, dándole las gracias por todos los momentos vividos y le dije cuánto la amaba. Fue duro, a mi hija no le dió tiempo a despedirse y era lo que más le dolía.

Luego de aceptar a laila en casa poco a poco fue llenando nuestras vidas de felicidad, el solo hecho de ver a mi hija feliz eso me daba paz, pero aún no superaba a vela. En el silencio de mi habitación me ponía a mirar nuestras fotos y videos con ella y arrancaba a llorar, así pase meses, pero siempre dándole amor a laila y a mi San que ya tenía años en casa, sin darme cuenta laila fue llenando ese espacio y vacío que aún permanecía en nosotros, se ganó nuestro amor, disfrutábamos de sus ocurrencias desde chiquita se metía con San, lo mordía, nunca le ha tenido miedo.

Día a día llena nuestras vidas de alegría y felicidad, ella es un gran arcoiris de colores, agradecida a la vida porque llegó sin ser pedida a transformar nuestro dolor por alegría y a recordarnos que debemos recordar con amor a aquellas mascotas que nos brindaron fidelidad y amor en su tiempo.
