Un Saludo Amigos Hivers

Primero que nada un saludo como siempre con mucho cariño a la apreciada comunidad Hive Open Mic, es un gusto poder decir presente una vez más y unirme en esta semana #158 a la temática "DERROTEMOS LA DISTANCIA", propuesta por el reciente artista destacado de la comunidad @karlex77, a quién le envío mis mejores deseos y bendiciones.

La temática de esta semana ha tocado de manera muy especial mi corazón, porque vivo lejos de mi familia y por la situación que se vive en mi país no puedo viajar para reunirme con ellos con la frecuencia que quisiera. Por la misma situación, he visto partir a miembros de mi familia y a grandes amigos fuera del país en busca de nuevas oportunidades. Pero la experiencia más dura fue cuando hace unos meses, me tocó despedir a mi único hijo, quién también decidió ir en busca de un futuro mejor fuera de Venezuela.

Es cierto que los hijos son de la vida y que en algún momento también alzan vuelo en busca de sus sueños, pero cuando la distancia que nos separa de nuestros seres queridos es obligada por situaciones como esta, es muy duro porque no sabes cuándo los vuelves a ver. Mi hijo es el regalo más hermoso que me ha dado Dios y la vida, la verdad cada día sin él me parece un siglo.

A mi hijo le encanta la música también, esta aprendiendo a tocar guitarra y canta. Él fue quien me invitó a vivir la linda experiencia de estar en esta gran familia en Hive y me enseñó hacer los post para mis presentaciones. Antes de irse del país, me enseño a editar los videos y hacer todo lo que necesitaba para mantenerme activa, porque sabe que para mí la música es mi gran pasión y la manera en la que mantengo mi equilibrio emocional. Lo extraño mucho y pido a Dios que pueda volver a tenerlo cerca pronto.

Talvez la tecnología actual no pueda derrotar la distancia totalmente, pero gracias a esta podemos acortarla un poco mediante video llamadas y utilizando las redes sociales para mantenernos en contacto con familiares y amigos.

Para la presentación de esta semana escuche varios temas con mensajes acordes a la temática, pero como soy muy romántica siempre elijo los que hablan sobre el amor. En esta oportunidad les traigo un tema titulado "No Importa La Distancia", es una canción escrita por Alan Menken, tomada de la película animada de Disney de 1997, Hércules. Fue interpretado por Roger Bart durante la película y por Michael Bolton en los créditos finales. En la versión en español para Latinoamérica, la canción fue interpretada por Antonio Benavides durante la película y por el cantante puertorriqueño Ricky Martin en los créditos finales, esta versión está incluida en el álbum Vuelve.

El mensaje que expresa esta canción me encanta, porque el amor es sólo un sentimiento, pero cuando estás enamorado te sientes fuerte y capaz de lograr cualquier cosa, expresa esa gran confianza en si mismo que lo lleva a derrotar esa distancia que lo separa del amor.

First of all a greeting as always with much affection to the appreciated Hive Open Mic community, it is a pleasure to be able to say present once again and join in this week #158 to the theme "LET'S DEFEAT THE DISTANCE", proposed by the recent featured artist of the community @karlex77, to whom I send my best wishes and blessings.

This week's theme has touched my heart in a very special way, because I live far away from my family and due to the situation in my country I cannot travel to meet them as often as I would like. Because of the same situation, I have seen members of my family and great friends leave the country in search of new opportunities. But the hardest experience was when a few months ago, I had to say goodbye to my only son, who also decided to go in search of a better future outside Venezuela.

It is true that children are part of life and that at some point they also take flight in search of their dreams, but when the distance that separates us from our loved ones is forced by situations like this, it is very hard because you do not know when you will see them again. My son is the most beautiful gift that God and life has given me, the truth is that every day without him seems like a century.

My son loves music too, he is learning to play guitar and he sings. He was the one who invited me to live the beautiful experience of being in this great family in Hive and taught me how to make the posts for my presentations. Before he left the country, he taught me how to edit the videos and do everything I needed to stay active, because he knows that for me music is my great passion and the way I keep my emotional balance. I miss him very much and I pray to God that I can have him around again soon.

Maybe today's technology can't totally defeat distance, but thanks to it we can shorten it a bit by video calling and using social media to keep in touch with family and friends.

For this week's presentation I listened to several songs with messages according to the theme, but as I am very romantic I always choose the ones that talk about love. This time I bring you a song called "No Matter The Distance", it is a song written by Alan Menken, taken from the 1997 Disney animated movie Hercules.
