Greetings, my dear Hive Open Mic family! I am delighted to be here again sharing music with great blockchain talents that week after week gather in a very special event. This week we will reflect on the theme Espiritualidad (Spirituality), proposed by our friend @milasalazar.

Over the course of several weeks, I've had the honor of introducing you to songs that explore the relationship with the divine and the connection we all share with a supreme being. Upon learning of this week's focus, I felt the need to select a song that not only resonated with the theme, but also had deep personal meaning to me.

Thus, I wish to share with you the piece entitled "Te Alabo en Verdad", composed by the talented Mexican musician Martin Valverde in 1990. This composition has left a lasting impression over time, finding its place in productions such as "En Él solo la esperanza" (1997), "Padre, te canto" (1999) and "Toronto 2002" (Collaboration of Several Artists).

My choice of this song is not accidental. During the turbulent year when the pandemic struck the world, claiming the lives of many loved ones, including my mother's, I found refuge in music as a source of serenity. The guitar became my faithful companion, and "Te Alabo en Verdad" emerged as a personal anthem in every difficult moment. Its lyrics became a guide that allowed me to understand that, even in the midst of adversity, God remained by my side, never abandoning me.

En esta semana reflexionaremos sobre el tema Espiritualidad, propuesto por nuestra amiga @milasalazar.

A lo largo de varias semanas, he tenido el honor de presentarles canciones que exploran la relación con lo divino y la conexión que todos compartimos con un ser supremo. Al conocer el enfoque de esta semana, sentí la necesidad de seleccionar una canción que no solo resonara con el tema, sino que también tuviera un significado personal profundo para mí.

Es así como deseo compartir con ustedes la pieza titulada "Te Alabo en Verdad", compuesta por el talentoso músico mexicano Martín Valverde en el año 1990. Esta composición ha dejado una huella perdurable a lo largo del tiempo, encontrando su espacio en producciones como "En Él solo la esperanza" (1997), "Padre, te canto" (1999) y "Toronto 2002" (Colaboración de Varios Artistas).

Mi elección de esta canción no es casual. Durante el turbulento año en que la pandemia azotó al mundo, cobrando la vida de muchos seres queridos, incluyendo la de mi mamá, hallé refugio en la música como una fuente de serenidad. La guitarra se convirtió en mi fiel compañera, y "Te Alabo en Verdad" emergió como un himno personal en cada momento difícil. Sus letras se transformaron en una guía que me permitió comprender que, aun en medio de las adversidades, Dios permanecía a mi lado, sin abandonarme jamás.

Hoy, les invito a sumergirse en esta versión de la canción, a permitirse absorber cada nota de su melodía y a dejarse llevar por su profundidad lírica.
