Hi friends, this is the first time I do this kind of content for Holus Lotus, I usually do it for music communities, especially for weekly dynamic Hive Open Mic, so I feel a bit nervous about it, but I really liked the initiative of the week "Give me a Serenade" For me a serenade is an expression of feelings through music, it doesn't necessarily have to involve romantic feelings, you can dedicate songs of all kinds, to parents, to the family in general, to children, to couples, to pets, even to the planet, songs to invite us to create awareness about our existence, and in my particular case I want to dedicate a song to humanity to invite them to reflect on the latest events in the world.

The song I am sharing with you is called "Zombie" by the Irish band The Cranberries. It was released in 1994 in honour of the memories of Tim Parry and Johnathan Ball, two children aged 12 and 3 respectively who died as a result of an act of terrorism, specifically a bomb, but it also alludes to the only consequences left by conflicts and warlike actions, the cries of mothers, the pain, the emptiness. I think we must do something to reverse this situation, we must feel more empathy for those who are vulnerable, sometimes we are so focused on seeing nonsense on social networks that we ignore that in various parts of the world there are people who cry, who suffer and who suffer, and there are people who if they find something about it prefer to concentrate on their own affairs claiming "it's none of my business" and at no time are grateful for what they have at their disposal.

I do not intend with this to depress you about the various wars that are being waged, nor do I intend to talk about them or to go deeper into that subject, my intention is to make us raise a prayer for those who suffer, for the less favoured, I want us to understand how privileged we are on this side of the world in spite of all the things we complain about every day, I want us to concentrate on being grateful for what we have and then send good energies and above all love to all the people who are suffering in some way, bless them and include them in your prayers. Thank you for listening to me, thank you for this wonderful initiative and above all thank you for inviting me to be part of this. God bless you, friends!

Me gustaría invitar a mi hermana @bethyjade y a mi amigo @ismaelgranados a unirse a esta preciosa iniciativa.

I would like to invite my sister @bethyjade and my friend @ismaelgranados to join this beautiful initiative.

    Letra de la canción/Lyric

    Another head hangs lowly
    Child is slowly taken
And the violence caused such silence
    Who are we mistaken?

But you see, it's not me
    It's not my family
In your head, in your head, they are fighting
With their tanks and their bombs
And their bombs, and their guns
In your head, in your head they are crying

In your head, in your head
    Zombie, zombie, zombie-ie-ie
What's in your head, in your head
    Zombie, zombie, zombie-ie-ie-ie, oh

    Du, du, du, du
    Du, du, du, du
    Du, du, du, du
    Du, du, du, du

Another mother's breaking heart is taking over
    When the violence causes silence
    We must be mistaken

    It's the same old theme
    Since nineteen-sixteen
In your head, in your head, they're still fighting
With their tanks and their bombs
And their bombs, and their guns
In your head, in your head, they are dying

In your head, in your head
    Zombie, zombie, zombie-ie-ie
What's in your head, in your head
    Zombie, zombie, zombie-ie-ie-ie
