Les deseo un excelente inicio de mes, mes dónde el espíritu navideño alegra los corazones de muchas personas, de los niños. Recordando momentos con las personas que en algún momento estuvieron con nosotros. Cuando era niña amaba mucho las navidades, colocar el arbolito y las luces, decorar la casa, encender luces de bengala, ver los fuegos artificiales. Mi parte favorita era cuando nos poníamos a abrir los regalos en la madrugada, nos levantábamos a escondidas de nuestros padres sin hacer ruido... Ver el árbol lleno de regalos me daba saltos de alegría. Puedo decir que tuvimos una infancia feliz, y volver a esa casa me revive esos momentos, casa fría sin mi abuela, ni mis tíos, con grietas y colores desgastados... En cierto modo, me da la sensación de un nudo en la garganta, sé que con mi presencia le daré ese brillo que una vez tenía, transmitiendo alegría y amor. Reencontrarme con mi niña de esa casa, con la puerta de mi antigua habitación con los trazos de nuestras medidas, siempre fui la más alta de los tres: mi hermana menor y un primo que pasó toda su infancia con nosotras, él también fue a pasar mejor vida...

Sé que todo esto que dejo acá escrito no se relaciona con la temática de la semana, pero se relaciona con este mes que inicia... Este mes al principio me da mucha tristeza porque dentro de unos días papá llegará a los 6 años de su partida, a mi todavía me duele pensar lo frio que es pasar una navidad sin él.

Pero ¿saben algo? Si no conociera de las maravillas de nuestro Dios, si no supiera de él, no sabría qué sería de mi ahora. EL me liberó de esa tristeza que me consumía lentamente, de dió el regalo inmerecido que por gracia recibimos, por fe creo que soy salva, por fe creo que soy su hija predilecta. Por fe sé... Que me acompañará adonde quiera que vaya. Por eso le dedico este canto. Alabanzas al Rey fue una de las primeras canciones que conocí estando en la iglesia, recuerdo que la cantamos en una reunión entre hermanos para despedir el año 2016, habla del nacimiento de Jesús. I wish you an excellent beginning of the month, a month where the Christmas spirit gladdens the hearts of many people, of children. Remembering moments with people who at some point were with us. When I was a child I loved Christmas, putting up the tree and lights, decorating the house, lighting sparklers, watching the fireworks. My favorite part was when we would get to open presents in the wee hours of the morning, sneaking out of our parents' earshot without making a sound.... Seeing the tree full of presents made me jump for joy. I can say that we had a happy childhood, and going back to that house relives those moments for me, cold house without my grandmother, without my uncles, with cracks and worn out colors? In a way, it gives me the feeling of a lump in my throat, I know that with my presence I will give it that brightness it once had, transmitting joy and love. To meet again my little girl from that house, with the door of my old room with the traces of our measurements, I was always the tallest of the three of us: my younger sister and a cousin who spent all his childhood with us, he also went to spend a better life...

But you know what? If I didn't know about the wonders of our God, if I didn't know about him, I wouldn't know what would become of me now. He freed me from that sadness that was slowly consuming me, He gave me the undeserved gift that by grace we received, by faith I believe I am saved, by faith I believe I am his favorite daughter. By faith I know... That he will accompany me wherever I go. That is why I dedicate this song to him. Praise the King was one of the first songs I knew while I was in church, I remember we sang it in a meeting between brothers to say goodbye to the year 2016, it speaks of the birth of Jesus.
