    Today is Day 17 of Our #3StepsNoExcuses Journey!


    The best way to get people to know, like and trust you is to show yourself, your real self!
    When you do videos, whether they’re live or recorded, let people see you as you are all the time.
    Initially, I was holding off on doing videos because I thought I had to be all dressed professional like but
    that is not who I really am. And when it’s not real people can see that and they won’t trust you.
    Or they may feel like you won’t be there to help them because you’re too busy or far above them to make the time for them.
    Once I figured out that I could just be me and be natural and casual the way I always am it became a bit less uncomfortable and strained for me to create video content. I still prefer to record videos because the timing just works out better. But the point is to let people see who you are. The REAL You!


    Jon shared the screenshot below to illustrate how important Email marketing really is.

    In a 24 hour period before he created our 3 steps pdf for today, 15 more people joined List Nerds.
    What does that mean? It means that more people are coming online everyday to learn how to use email marketing to reach their customers or to get help to grow their online business.
    And you can get in front of those people by learning how to use email marketing as one of your tools.
    Using viral mailers like List Nerds is a great way to do that if you don’t already have an autoresponder. But if you do have an autoresponder you can use viral mailers to test your emails and just get some numbers for what works and what doesn’t.

    You may get a subscriber or someone may purchase something from those emails but that isn’t the objective. It’s almost like going to a cold market first to see how many will respond.
    Then you take it to your autoresponder, where your subscribers are your warm market to get an even better response. But always add value first.
    That brings us to the 3rd step….


    Our Plus 1 Success Step today is about always putting people over profits.

    Your list subscribers are people.
    Your customers are people.
    Your followers on social media are people.
    They all want to know that you care about them and solving their problems first and foremost.
    Spend time adding value to them and their journey and build and nurture the relationship.
    Ask them questions about their problems and pains and share information that will help them solve their problems and pains.
    Something that has happened to me on social media too many times than I care to count is people sending me a friend request and then I accept it only to be bombarded with instant messages about the newest best thing they are promoting this week.
    I instantly ignore that kind of thing and I will never do it.
    Remember the CTP Golden Rule! 75% pull and 25% push
    This takes time and you have to be okay with that. But when you do it right you will have loyal followers and fans. The money will come, be patient.
