I think it's called either Murphy's Law or "best-laid plans" and it's completely inconvenient.

That's why factoring in contingencies helps to alleviate a feeling of utter failure when you're scaling the business because not everything will go according to plan.

🎯 Goal: Set multiple goals whether they're a revenue goal, profitability goal, adding a new team member, or anything that smells like success to you.
Having a plan for the goal will assist to quickly identifying how things are going.

🚧 Actionable Item: The next part of that plan is to track goals with an end date in mind but have a backup plan if something happens that precludes the continuation of that goal.
