Splinterlands DIY fan art // URAEUS (English /Spanish)

A loving greeting to all my friends of Hive, it gives me great pleasure to be once again with you in the great contest of Splinterlands every week I love to share my representations of each of these amazing characters. This time I bring you a card that I love for its aesthetics and beauty, it is URAEUS.

This is a powerful and fearsome snake. I have always been afraid of these animals, but I also consider them to be beautiful. Plus their way of hunting and surviving is certainly admirable. So when I saw this beautiful card I knew I had to make it. I must also confess that it was quite a challenge to express it through origami, but the result has left me very satisfied.

For this figure we won't use a perfect square, but rather we will start with a legal sheet.

This we will divide it in two parts, with one we will make the head and the neck and with the other the rest of the snake's body up to the tail.

We will start bending with a lot of concentration. In the video is every detail of the folds, so you can follow each step and get your own paper snake.

It is fascinating how much we can do with just a sheet of paper and our hands. The human species has an infinite capacity to create. I loved this figure from beginning to end and the result is very satisfactory. Because the snake is quite realistic and I think it represents URAEUS very well.

Un saludo amoroso para todos mis amigos de Hive, me da mucho gusto estar una vez más con ustedes en el grandioso concurso de Splinterlands cada semana adoro compartir mis representaciones de cada uno de estos increíbles personajes. En esta ocasión les traigo una carta que me encanto por su estética y belleza, se trata de URAEUS.

Esta es una poderosa y temible serpiente. Siempre les he tenido miedo a estos animales, pero también considero que son preciosos. Además su forma de cazar y sobrevivir sin duda es admirable. Así que cuando vi esta hermosa carta supe que debía hacerla. También debo confesar que fue todo un desafío expresarla a través de origami, pero el resultado me ha dejado muy satisfecha.

Para esta figura no utilizaremos un cuadrado perfecto, más bien iniciaremos con una hoja tipo oficio,

Esta la dividiremos en dos partes, con una haremos la cabeza y el cuello y con la otra el resto del cuerpo de la serpiente hasta la cola.

Empezaremos a dobla con mucha concentración. En el video esta cada detalle de los dobleces, para que puedan seguir cada pasó y obtener su propia serpiente de papel.

Es fascinante todo lo que podemos hacer con la solo una hoja de papel y nuestras manos. La especie humana tiene una capacidad de crear que es infinita. Esta figura me encanto de principio a fin y el resultado es muy satisfactorio. Porque la serpiente es bastante realista y creo que representa muy bien a URAEUS
