Hello Hive Music Community, my name is @jesus-son and in this post I bring you an original song which I composed for all of you in this community to enjoy with me. I hope you love it.

It has actually been very long since I did an original song. I was prompted to do so this week because I couldn't find a song in my playlist that fit in to the theme for open mic week 155 and so I had to think and did some compositions. It was along the line that I got inspired to do a second song for this community. I really do hope you like it. Let me know your feeling on the song. It would go a long way to helping me do better.

The title of the song is "my Lord my Helper". The inspiration behind this theme is a reflection on the times I have been in some critical situations in life that attracted the mockery of people around me. It was as if there was no reason to be alive. But I remember finding solace in the Lord and indeed He was never absent at those situations as He came around and saved the situations. Thus, as a token of appreciation to God, I sing this song acknowledging His helping hand in my life.

Sometimes I feel it was necessary I went through those tough moments and that is because, they really helped to shape me to be more resilent in life. I have learnt that life is not always rosy and as such never to expect things to be smooth always.

In accomplishing the task of this presentation, I used my piano. It was fun recording it. At first, I had to look for a highlife beat on the piano that I would use to accompany the song. I found one which sounded very soft to me as the song is somehow solemn and I made use of it and the outcome is here for you to listen.

I had to master the lyrics by heart because I had written it on a paper and then I sang while I played my piano. To be frank, I enjoyed myself while singing and I really do hope you enjoy with me.

hola comunidad de Hive Music, mi nombre es @jesus-son y en este post les traigo una canción original que compuse para que todos ustedes en esta comunidad disfruten conmigo. Espero que te encante.

De hecho, ha pasado mucho tiempo desde que hice una canción original. Me pidieron que lo hiciera esta semana porque no pude encontrar una canción en mi lista de reproducción que encajara con el tema de la semana 155 de micrófono abierto, así que tuve que pensar e hice algunas composiciones. Fue en ese momento que me inspiré para hacer una segunda canción para esta comunidad. Realmente espero que les guste. Déjame saber tu sentimiento sobre la canción. Me ayudaría mucho a hacerlo mejor.

El título de la canción es "mi Señor, mi Ayudador". La inspiración detrás de este tema es una reflexión sobre las veces que he estado en algunas situaciones críticas en la vida que atrajeron la burla de las personas que me rodeaban. Era como si no hubiera razón para estar vivo. Pero recuerdo encontrar consuelo en el Señor y, de hecho, Él nunca estuvo ausente en esas situaciones cuando Él vino y salvó las situaciones. Por lo tanto, como muestra de agradecimiento a Dios, canto esta canción reconociendo Su mano amiga en mi vida.

A veces siento que fue necesario que pasé por esos momentos difíciles y eso es porque realmente me ayudaron a moldearme para ser más resistente en la vida. He aprendido que la vida no siempre es color de rosa y, como tal, nunca esperar que las cosas sean siempre suaves.

Para llevar a cabo la tarea de esta presentación, utilicé mi piano. Fue divertido grabarlo. Al principio, tuve que buscar un ritmo highlife en el piano que usaría para acompañar la canción. Encontré uno que sonaba muy suave para mí ya que la canción es de alguna manera solemne y lo usé y el resultado está aquí para que lo escuches.

Tuve que dominar la letra de memoria porque la había escrito en un papel y luego cantaba mientras tocaba mi piano. Para ser franco, disfruté cantando y realmente espero que disfrutes conmigo.

Estoy agradecido por su tiempo y sacrificio de ver y escuchar. Dios te bendiga y que El sea tu ayudador en cada momento de tu vida, amén.
