Greetings Afritunes Community...I hope this post finds you well.
It's week 62 in the Afritute community where we celebrate African music on the blockchain.
I will sing a song by Nataniel Bassey titled Adonai. As I said in the video, this song carries an aura, you will understand better when you listen to it.
The song Adonai by Nathaniel Bassey is a simple song and it doesn't have a lot of lyrics, but it is powerful. It speaks to your heart and soul in a way that makes you feel a deep connection with God. It is a powerful reminder of God's greatness and sovereignty.
My church's choir's quarterly worship clinic will be held next Sunday.
During our quarterly worship, all through the service that Sunday, we worship God. Our choir will lead the congregation in singing. We will focus on pleasing and heartfelt music to honor God.
There is a special time for God's word. Without it, the service would not be complete.
Sometimes we the choristers are told to just come with worship songs the holy spirit lay in our hearts. Other times we are given songs to score and rehearse ahead of the worship clinic Sunday. This is something we have been doing for years in my church and it was inspired by the Holy Spirit.
In your church, do you have such a program?
For this month's quarterly worship, we were given songs to score and told to bring our own songs as well. The final rehearsal will be on Saturday.
Among the songs sent to us to score, this Adoinai was part of it. I won't lead the song though. However, I have listened to it a lot. There is a way I feel when I listen to the song and I can't explain it, but the lord understand hehe.
I almost missed publishing this post or finishing my video. The power supply in my area has been problematic this week.
Since Monday, my phone and PC have been switched off. I was able to charge them a bit, record the video, edit it and write my post. As I type, the battery is low again. I am hopeful that next week will be better.
I also hope to visit others in the community before the end of the day.
Thank you for always tuning in and supporting me.
