    About :

Once again, greetings to the Afritunes community. Today is the last day of week 71 of celebrating African music on Hive and I am pleased to present the song Onise Iyanu by Nathaniel Bassey. This song is a powerful reminder of God's grace and mercy. It is a perfect way to end this week and look forward to the next.

As I am posting my video today, I am also excited to announce that tomorrow, July 21, I will be +1. I am so thankful to God for His faithfulness and I hope that my birthday will be a day filled with love, joy, and peace. I invite you to join me in celebration and remember to always be thankful for God's grace and mercy.

Speaking of God's mercy and grace, I will never get tired of saying that God loves me so much.

Around this time last year, I had just resigned from the gym center I was working at as a gym instructor Due to the Due to the nature of my job and the fact that I need the money, I was unable to take care of my son myself; I had to leave him with my parents in hopes of finding another job later on so I could take care of him, pick him up from school, and be there for him as much as possible.

Also, I kept a journal about my life, and in that journal, I wrote down things that I desired I wrote down the goals I wanted to achieve and the lifestyle I wanted to live. I wrote about the people I wanted to meet, the places I wanted to visit, and the things I wanted to do. I kept track of my progress and affirmed my commitment to achieving my goals.

Seeing how God has been there for me all along and brought to pass almost all the things I wrote down in this book today makes me feel so blessed.

There is this song by an artist named Angel. The title of the song is Blessings.

I love the part in the lyrics that says, 'Why am I stressing? I better count my blessings because life could have been more threatening.'

Where do I start? One of my desires was to get a job that would sustain me and would allow me to spend time with my son, and God did it. Ever since I resigned from my last place of work, I have never lacked anything, and work from home.

No longer do I have to worry about getting to work early and facing the stress of the commute.

Aside from moving into a new apartment and gaining admission to the university after struggling with finances for a long time, I am a better version of myself. My heart is filled with gratitude to God for the positive progress I've made so far, even though I haven't begun at all.

My life is a testimony of God's goodness, and all I can say to God as I turn a new page is thank you.
