Visit to Mapro Garden.

Today is day 786 of participation,

To celebrate New Year's Eve, we had planned to go out of town. There were three families in total, and the place we chose to stay was a four-hour drive from the city. We started our journey in the morning around 11:45. On the way, my friend mentioned a place called Mapro Garden that we could visit. We thought it would be a great spot to relax and rejuvenate before continuing our journey, especially since it was a four-hour drive. My friend assured us that the kids would enjoy the place as well, so we agreed to make a stop there.

We arrived at Mapro Garden around 2:30 PM. The garden is located in Lonavala, which is a hill station near Mumbai and is known for its beautiful scenery, caves, and waterfalls. During the rainy season, the views are particularly stunning.

Now, let's talk about Mapro.

The company, which specializes in food-based confectionery, was initially started by Kishore Vora, a pharmacist. In 1983, his nephew Mayur Vora expanded the business. They set up a fruit processing unit in Gureghar, which now serves as a popular tourist spot in Mahabaleshwar. The name Mapro is derived from "Mahabaleshwar Products."

We spent over an hour at Mapro Garden. They had various attractions for the kids, such as games, a garden, a play area, and even a juggling show. As soon as we entered, we saw a man showcasing his juggling skills. All the kids rushed to watch the show, and it took place in an open area where everyone gathered around. The show lasted around 15 minutes, and after it ended, the juggler approached the crowd. Some people offered him money or coins as a token of appreciation for his efforts, although it wasn't mandatory. In my opinion, we should acknowledge and support his talent as the kids truly enjoyed the performance.
