Saludos a la comunidad de HiveOpenMic, nuevamente luchando por un mejor futuro aquí en la Blockchain de Hive, esta semana me acompaña el gran cuatrista venezolano Diego "Coquito" García (@kococuatro) quien es el artista destacado de la semana, estoy muy feliz por la evolución personal y profesional de mi colega y hermano del alma, es un gran honor ser el artista destacado de esta hermosa comunidad que nos une a través de la música.
Para esta semana vamos a presentar "El Sabrosito" de Aquiles Baez. Un Merengue Venezolano hermosísimo.
Diego "Coquito" García - Hermano musical.
Hay un refrán que dice "Dios los crea y el Diablo los une" pero entre @kococuatro y yo sería más bien "Dios los crea y la Blockchain los une", la historia de como Coquito y yo nos conocimos es bastante extraña, fue una coincidencia bien particular.
Cuando comenzó la sede de UNEARTE en Maracay, Venezuela. Coquito y yo estuvimos en la primera promoción en la carrera de PNF instrumental, en ese momento yo tenía una pasión por cantar Gaita y vi a Coquito tocando Cuatro y me quedé loco porque nunca había visto a nadie tocar Gaita Venezolana de esa forma.
Recuerdo que me le acerqué y le pregunté si conocía una Gaita llamada "La Elegida" y me dijo que sí, la cantamos y desde ese momento comenzamos a ser grandes amigos. Más adelante vivimos otras experiencias en encuentros y cuando cayó la pandemia, comenzamos a ensayar más ya que su casa quedaba a 5 minutos de la mía (vivía cerca de mi hogar y no lo conocía).
En fin, nos separamos por un tiempo cada quien tomó su rumbo y un día me lo encontré en una reunió de Hive, que casualmente era la primera a la que Coquito y yo asistimos! Teníamos meses sin vernos y la Blockchain le dio un propósito mayor a nuestra música!
Gracias a Hive, el Proyecto de Capibara Dúo volvió a renacer y hoy estamos luchando y apostando por este maravilloso ecosistema descentralizado.

Greetings to the HiveOpenMic community, again fighting for a better future here on the Hive Blockchain, this week I am joined by the great Venezuelan cuatrista Diego "Coquito" Garcia (@kococuatro) who is the featured artist of the week, I am very happy for the personal and professional evolution of my colleague and soul brother, it is a great honor to be the featured artist of this beautiful community that unites us through music.
For this week we are going to present "El Sabrosito" by Aquiles Baez. A beautiful Venezuelan Merengue.
Diego "Coquito" García - Musical Brother.
There is a saying that goes "God creates them and the Devil unites them" but between me and @kococuatro it would be more like "God creates them and the Blockchain unites them ", the story of how Coquito and I met is quite strange, it was a very particular coincidence.
When the UNEARTE headquarters started in Maracay, Venezuela. Coquito and I were in the first promotion in the instrumental PNF career, at that time I had a passion for singing Gaita and I saw Coquito playing Cuatro and I was crazy because I had never seen anyone play Gaita Venezolana in that way.
I remember that I approached him and asked him if he knew a Gaita called "La Elegida" and he said yes, we sang it and from that moment on we became great friends. Later we lived other experiences in meetings and when the pandemic fell, we began to rehearse more because his house was 5 minutes away from mine (he lived near my home and I did not know him).
Anyway, we separated for a while, each one of us went our own way and one day I met him at a Hive meeting, which happened to be the first one Coquito and I attended! We hadn't seen each other for months and the Blockchain gave a greater purpose to our music!
Thanks to Hive, the Capibara Duo Project was reborn and today we are fighting and betting for this wonderful decentralized ecosystem.
