Showcasing my creative side, I made a beautiful dress

Thinking about what to present as my creative side in the Hive Ghana weekly contest, I thought about singing but decided to change my mind at some point while trying to record myself singing, I love to sing don't get me wrong, and it is one of the activity I do for fun. On second thought, if anyone is asked about me, what they know I'm good at, and what my creative talent is, I'm sure the higher percentage of people who know me physically even some of my online friends will choose fashion designing, which is my top most talent at the moment, it's a passion I gradually built up into a profession and so far has open ways for me that I never imagined.

So yeah, I will be showcasing my creative side in the uploaded video in the form of fashion design, I designed a simple yet elegant shift dress with an African print. I decided to make a comfy dress, that I can easily put on any day or time, without any stress of keeping it for special occasions only, It's a shift dress, meaning it's meant to be a bit lose and not so tight on the skin, the more reason why it's a comfy dress.

Materials used to make this dress includes;

• African Print fabric
• matching thread
  *elastic, yea, I'm keeping it minimal as we are restricted to a three minute video

And the tools used are

• Sewing machine
• tape-rule
  *scissors etc.

I explained in the video each of the processes that I did to form a beautiful dress. Since it's not a complicated design, it also didn't take me much time to get it done, the duration of making this dress was about three hours in total, with other activities in between, "a hiver's way"😅 one of the perks of my talent, I could make my dress in the morning and its ready to be worn to an event in the afternoon.
