Hi everyone, how are you guys today? I hope everything is fine.
Okay, on this occasion I will play some guitar riffs from a band that I really like and this band is one of my influences in music. Yes, that band is METALLICA.
Metallica is one of The Big 4, the nickname of the media and fans for the four biggest bands in the early history of the thrash metal subgenre alongside Slayer, Megadeth, and Anthrax.
Some metal musicians added one more band to become the big 5, namely Exodus, especially the era of vocalist Paul Baloff, because the band's stage action and their attractive fans helped spread the popularity of the thrash metal subgenre. The stage attraction then became the forerunner of the audience's headbanging, moshing, and stage dive actions. These four bands have toured under the name The Big Four Show in 2010 (Europe) and 2011 (USA).
Five bands that were influential in the early development of thrash metal music were Metallica (known as the pioneers of this genre), Slayer (known for the most 'heavy' music among the others), Megadeth (State of the art or high-tech), Anthrax (his music was considered opportunities for thrash genres to be mated with other genres/crossovers), and Exodus (attractive stage action).
Uniquely, these five bands are related: guitarist Megadeth (Dave Mustaine) is a former member of Metallica, guitarist Slayer (Kerry King) was in a band with Dave Mustaine, one of the former vocalists of Anthrax (John Bush) was offered to be Metallica's vocalist despite refusing, and Kirk Hammett is a former Exodus guitarist. In addition to Anthrax from New York, 4 other bands are from California.
So that's a little story about the Metallica band, do you also like the metal music genre?
I hope this video can entertain you all. Keep rock 🤘🤘🤘
