HIVE OPENMIC WEEK 152(MUSICA TRADICIONAL) - INSPIRADO EN MI TIERRA - MUSICA CLASICA VENEZOLANA

Un cordial saludo y abrazo a todos ustedes amigos y simpatizantes de nuestro concurso Hive Openmic. Dónde celebramos la música con diferentes temas semanales. Estamos en la semana 152 y vaya que tenemos un gran tiempo compartiendo nuestras música. Y el tema seleccionado de esta semana es: Música tradicional.

A cordial greeting and hug to all of you friends and supporters of our Hive Openmic contest. Where we celebrate music with different weekly themes. We are in week 152 and what a great time we have sharing our music. And this week's selected topic is: Traditional music.

Yo soy de Venezuela, que es un país caribeño que ha adoptado muchas culturas de otros países y hemos creado nuestro propio estilos y géneros musicales derivados de España, la costa y el llano. Entre ellos resalta el joropo,la gaita zuliana y el Calypso. Es curioso que algunos de esos géneros musicales se escuchen en fechas especificas como gaitas en navidad y calypso en fechas de carnavales. Tenemos una rica diversidad artística y musical.

I am from Venezuela, which is a Caribbean country that has adopted many cultures from other countries and we have created our own styles and musical genres derived from Spain, the coast and the plains. Among them, the joropo, the Zulia bagpipe and the Calypso stand out. It is curious that some of these musical genres are heard on specific dates such as bagpipes at Christmas and calypso on carnival dates. We have a rich artistic and musical diversity.

Yo soy muy fan de las piezas de guitarra clásica creadas por músicos venezolanos como Aliro díaz y sus melodías larences o Antonio Lauro y sus bonitos valses. También me gusta mucho el estilo de la música llanera y sus grandiosos solos de arpa .
Yo me inspire en esa música para traerles este pequeña pieza y la nombré: Inspirado en mi tierra.

I am a big fan of classical guitar pieces created by Venezuelan musicians like Aliro Díaz and his Larence melodies or Antonio Lauro and his beautiful waltzes. I also really like the llanera music style and its great harp solos.
I was inspired by that music to bring you this little piece and I named it: Inspired by my land.

Originalmente quería cantarles una canción mas nacional pero tome un resfriado fuerte y la garganta no me permitió cantarles, pero me tome el tiempo de completar la armonía que ya tenia algún tiempo formulando para ustedes.

Originally I wanted to sing you a more national song but I had a bad cold and my throat didn't allow me to sing to you, but I took the time to complete the harmony that I had been formulating for you for some time.

Estoy muy feliz de poder atreverme a componer y tocar algo de esta magnitud y he sumado más y más a mis conocimientos musicales. Se puede ver desde mis primeras participaciones que en su mayoría eran instrumentales, y espero cada vez seguir aprendiendo y mejorando mi técnica y canto. El video lo grabé en una sola toma , aunque lo repetí muchas veces por equivocarme ya que es muy nueva la melodía. Espero lo disfruten.

I am very happy to be able to dare to compose and play something of this magnitude and I have added more and more to my musical knowledge. You can see from my first performances that most of them were instrumental, and I hope every time to continue learning and improving my technique and singing. I recorded the video in one take, although I repeated it many times due to being wrong since the melody is very new. I hope you enjoy it.
