Greetings to the management of this great community. Your consistency in delivering weekly prompts like this is amazing and worth celebrating. This community has become a platform where I'm able to display and recover other latent gifts on my life.
For this afritunes week 107 I bring forth a very good cover of one of my favourite songs last year. Virtually every event I had opportunity to speak I start with this song. This is a cover I made with my guitar from Solomon Lange song. Getting the progression might look easy but for an amateur like me had to do it several times before I could make head way. The joy is that I have been able to do a cover in my own way and hope you will enjoy it very well.
About the song and the composer hmmmm Solomon Lange songs has become like an anthem in my area in the northern part of Nigeria. I got to hear one of his first debut in 2003 when I visited my elder brother at kafanchan of Kaduna State. Everywhere was overwhelmed with "Na gode" in Hausa which simply means thank you. This song went viral and really built his fame.
I can't quote exactly when he sang the cover I made but personally it was mid last year that the song took over me. I found the song irresistible in my mouth especially when I want to pray. You've done me well is an inner expression of God's love and mercies over one's life. God's faithfulness never ceased therefore he has done what no man can do. Hmmm he has done me well for being alive.
You have done me well, You have done me well, You have done me well
Jesus
You have done me well, You have done me well, You have done me well
Jesus
You have done me well, You have done me well, You have done me well
Jesus
You have done me well, You have done me well, You have done me well
Jesus.
