THROWBACK TO MY ONE YEAR PROFESSIONAL INTERNSHIP (ENG-ESP)

Hello everyone @throwbackthursday community, I'm @fab-tay and i welcome us all to yet another throwback thursday once again 🕺and it's always a delight to relieve the memories of great moments of the past. This week, my throwback will be on my one year professional internship immediately after i graduated from the University.

This internship is a one year professional training for fresh university graduates who studied Pharmacy as a course. This is to acquaint with the necessary requsite knowledge about the professional practice and ethics haven learnt them in school. This serves as a platform to put to practice what has been learnt in the 5 years of university studies. This internship was done in a government hospital setting and i with other colleagues were put under the Head of the Pharmacy Department called a preceptor to guide us through this one year whom we are accountable to. This internship is in 3 major phases; the induction/orientation, the training and the completion.

I learnt various things which are of help today during this one year and infact, are my major background of the practice today. I worked in various units of the health institution and developed position relationships which are of hige benefits even after completion of the training. The training was between May, 2019 - May, 2020 and after the successful completion, a get-together was organised for us just to appreciate our positive inputs. Life is about learning and training which has no limit and we will keep learning new things because the world is evolving. Thanks for reading and comments are welcomed.

Hola a todos, comunidad de @throwbackthursday, soy @fab-tay y les doy la bienvenida a todos a otro jueves de retroceso una vez más 🕺 y siempre es un placer aliviar los recuerdos de grandes momentos del pasado. Esta semana, mi recuerdo será sobre mi pasantía profesional de un año inmediatamente después de graduarme de la Universidad.

Esta pasantía es una formación profesional de un año para recién graduados universitarios que estudiaron Farmacia como curso. Se trata de adquirir los conocimientos necesarios que sobre el ejercicio profesional y la ética han aprendido en la escuela. Esto sirve como plataforma para poner en práctica lo aprendido en los 5 años de estudios universitarios. Esta pasantía se realizó en un hospital gubernamental y yo, junto con otros colegas, fuimos puestos bajo el mando del Jefe del Departamento de Farmacia, llamado un preceptor para guiarnos durante este año ante quien debemos rendir cuentas. Esta pasantía se divide en 3 fases principales; la inducción/orientación, la formación y la finalización.

Aprendí varias cosas que son de ayuda hoy durante este año y, de hecho, son mi principal experiencia en la práctica actual. Trabajé en varias unidades de la institución de salud y desarrollé relaciones de puesto que son de gran beneficio incluso después de completar la capacitación. La capacitación se realizó entre mayo de 2019 y mayo de 2020 y, después de completarla exitosamente, se organizó una reunión para apreciar nuestros aportes positivos. La vida se trata de aprendizaje y formación que no tiene límite y seguiremos aprendiendo cosas nuevas porque el mundo está evolucionando. Gracias por leer y los comentarios son bienvenidos.
