Llega un nuevo #musicalmonday, y esta entrega es muy especial, pues es un covera dúo, que luego de varios meses e intentos pude realizar con mi amigo @oswalsotorres. Nos hemos reído mucho al intentar llevar a cabo este proyecto, pues al mal tiempo buena cara, ya que siempre algo le pasaba o a él o a mí cuando íbamos a grabar ¡No podíamos creerlo! Desde gripes, pérdida de teléfono hasta vecinos compartiendo música a altas horas de la noche, todo se confabulada en nuestra contra, pero como dicen por ahí; El que pervera vence y este cover es una muestra de ese poderoso pensamiento.

Empezamos a estudiar la posibilidad de un cover con una canción diferente a la que hoy les presento y al final como sugerencia de Oswaldo, fui a escuchar una canción interpretada por Cecilia Todd. Ya la había oído antes, conocía un poco la melodía, pero no la había escuchado a profundidad, una vez que lo hice, me pareció más hermosa que nunca, como le comenté a Oswaldo luego de terminado el cover, esta canción puede tener muchas lecturas y pienso que también habla de que aquellas personas que no están en este mudno pero a las que amamos infinitamente, aprendí la letra y le sugerí a Oswaldo presentar una verión corta de esta canción.

Me sentí muy feliz cuando el me envió su video (¡Sí, por fin!) cantando y tocando la guitarra, lo cual le agradezco muchísimo, me preparé para grabar mi parte y les cuento que en este video juego un poco a ser histriónica, no sé me da tan bien (jajaja), pero siempre me gusta darle un toque especial a mis videos, además es la primera vez que hice la edición con división de 3 pantallas, fue un reto y me siento muy bien con el resultado final.

También edité el audio, te recomiendo usar audífonos para una mejor experiencia sonora.

Espero que les agrade este cover, lo hicimos con mucho cariño y es una muestra de toda la hermosa energía que mueve un cover a distancia, se requiere más emotividad e imaginación para cantar con alguien que no está a tu lado y siento que es algo mágico que en el resultado final pueda sentirse que compartíamos el mismo espacio físico mientras cantábamos.

Here comes a new #musicalmonday, and this installment is very special, because it's a cover duet, that after several months and attempts I was able to make with my friend @oswalsotorres. We have laughed a lot while trying to carry out this project, because to bad weather a good thing, as always something happened either to him or to me when we were going to record we couldn't believe it! From flus, loss of phone to neighbors sharing music late at night, everything was conspiring against us, but as they say; El que pervera vence and this cover is a sample of that powerful thought.

We started to study the possibility of a cover with a different song than the one I present to you today and in the end, as Oswaldo suggested, I went to listen to a song performed by Cecilia Todd. I had heard it before, I knew the melody a little, but I had not listened to it in depth, once I did, I found it more beautiful than ever, as I commented to Oswaldo after the cover, this song can have many readings and I think it also speaks of those people who are not in this world but whom we love infinitely, I learned the lyrics and suggested Oswaldo to present a short version of this song.

I was very happy when he sent me his video (yes, finally!) singing and playing the guitar, which I thank him very much, I got ready to record my part and I tell you that in this video I play a little bit to be histrionic, I'm not so good at it (hahaha), but I always like to give a special touch to my videos, it's also the first time I did the editing with 3 screens division, it was a challenge and I feel very good with the final result.

I hope you like this cover, we did it with a lot of love and it is a sample of all the beautiful energy that moves a cover at a distance, it requires more emotion and imagination to sing with someone who is not next to you and I feel it is something magical that in the final result you can feel that we shared the same physical space while we were singing.
