Seguramente, si eres cantante o músico, ya sea profesional o amateur, te han hecho alguna petición musical, a veces la gente te pone en un aprieto musicalmente divertido y debes hacer todo lo posible para preparar esa canción que te han solicitado. ¿Te identificas?

En diversas ocasiones me ha sucedido, recientemente me pidieron cantar Blanquísima Gaviota de Alí Primera en un cumpleaños de una amiga del coro, su hermana se me acercó y me dijo: Por favor canta tu canción, me encanta. Su hermana tomó la guitarra y al final logramos complacer a esta hermosa persona.

Generalmente, me piden canciones que me sé, pero en otras ocasiones pasa que me toca estudiar la canción desde cero, como en una oportunidad cuando un hiver me dijo que le gustaría escuchar la canción Prometiste de Pepe Aguilar o en otra ocasión otro hiver me dijo que le gustaría escuchar Agua y Sal de Rosario, para estas canciones fui a mi ritmo y pude lograr dominarlas.

Sin embargo, nunca antes me habían pedido una complacencia musical con menos de 24 horas, ocurrió justo un día antes de un viaje a la montaña. Una jovencita que conozco desde muy pequeña, acamparía por primera vez con su novio y esta es su canción de amor, de esto me enteré después de boca de una prima ¡Así que imaginen no podía defraudarlos! O al menos debía intentar cantar parte de la canción.

Ella me dijo que la canción se llamaba Apariciones de Recordatorio, yo quedé en blanco, jamás la había escuchado. Ya en casa busqué la canción y me gustó bastante, considero que habla sobre el maravilloso coincidir en el amor, sin forzar nada, solo dejando fluir, al menos así lo entendí.

Surely, if you are a singer or musician, either professional or amateur, you have been asked to do something musical, sometimes people put you in a musically funny predicament and you must do everything possible to prepare the song they have requested. Do you identify yourself?

It has happened to me on several occasions, recently I was asked to sing Blanquísima Gaviota by Alí Primera on a birthday of a friend of the choir, her sister came up to me and said: Please sing your song, I love it. Her sister took the guitar and we finally managed to please this beautiful person.

Generally, they ask me for songs that I know, but in other occasions it happens that I have to study the song from scratch, like in an opportunity when a hiver told me that he would like to listen to the song Promise by Pepe Aguilar or in another occasion another hiver told me that he would like to listen to Agua y Sal by Rosario, for these songs I went to my own rhythm and I was able to master them.

However, I had never before been asked for a musical indulgence with less than 24 hours, it happened just a day before a trip to the mountains. A young girl I have known since she was very young, was going camping for the first time with her boyfriend and this is their love song, I found this out later from a cousin, so I couldn't let them down! Or at least I had to try to sing part of the song.

She told me that the song was called Apariciones from Recordatorio, I was blank, I had never heard it before. At home I looked up the song and I liked it a lot, I think it talks about the wonderful coincidence in love, without forcing anything, just letting it flow, at least that's how I understood it.

Busque los acordes para guitarra, pero como aún no le he colocado sus cuerdas a mi acústica, decidí que practicaría la canción en el cuatro. Ya saben lo que les he comentado varias veces: Lo mío es cantar, sin embargo, trato de acompañarme con instrumentos para dar más de mí en cada interpretación. Algún acorde me costó en su realización, pero digamos que lo que más me reto fue la letra, la melodía y recordar la secuencia de los acordes. A ver, un poco de todo.

En el video pueden ver un momento del ensayo en la montaña, subí a una planicie para que no me escucharan durante el mismo, buscaba el factor sorpresa. Mientras cantaba me divertí mucho aunque me equivocaba, siempre lo hago, es inevitable. Cantar es para mí una actividad que me llena de gran alegría, aunque me equivoque, siempre me río cuando no sale la canción y vuelvo a intentarlo una y otra vez.

Este fue mi ensayo previo al momento en el cual canté a los tórtolos su canción, fue muy emotivo el momento, me encantó brindarles esta canción, que luego canté varias veces, me equivoqué un tanto... gajes del oficio de aprender una canción en menos de 24 horas. Como dato curioso les cuento que no sé silbar y al final de la canción se escucha un silbido de la melodía, así que les pedí a los enamorados que hicieran esa parte, fue otro lindo momento.

Nunca pararé de agradecer a la música por brindar calidez a mi existencia, es tanto lo que me ha dado que me siento bendecida.

In the video you can see a moment of the rehearsal in the mountain, I went up to a plain so that they wouldn't hear me during the rehearsal, I was looking for the surprise factor. While singing I had a lot of fun, I always do, it's inevitable. Singing is for me an activity that fills me with great joy, even if I make mistakes, I always laugh when the song doesn't come out and I try again and again.

This was my rehearsal prior to the moment in which I sang their song to the lovebirds, it was a very emotional moment, I was delighted to give them this song, which I then sang several times, I was a bit wrong... tricks of the trade of learning a song in less than 24 hours. As a curious fact, I don't know how to whistle and at the end of the song you can hear a whistle of the melody, so I asked the lovers to do that part, it was another nice moment.
