The Mythology of Thunderstorms

Hey dear Hive community, I would like to welcome you all to my new post and hope you are all well! Recently I was outside and was lucky to film a amazing thunderstorm, which I would like to go into more detail.

I personally like thunderstorms very much and that's why it's always a pleasure for me to see thunderstorms like this and this one has hidden behind the clouds. Thunderstorms are not only interesting to watch, also mythologically strongly anchored. One of the most important gods in Hinduism is Shiva, which is also associated with the typical third eye. He is known to be able to trigger thunderstorms and rain and when he starts to play drum, it starts to thunder.

Lightning can also be associated with the elements of air and fire and thunderstorms can also be found in Egyptian mythology. Seth, who is also known as the god of chaos and desert god, is associated with storms and lightnings can also be symbolically associated with vitality and energy.
