(Esp/Eng) Fragata ARA Sarmiento: un viaje al pasado marítimo

Tengo desde muy chica fascinación por todo tipo de barcos, desde los más pequeños hasta los más grandes pero sobre todo de aquellos barcos veleros antiguos de siglos pasados porque me llama mucho la atención la estructura, arquitectura y cómo sin ser ingenieros podían crear semejantes maravillas, es digno de admirar.

Since I was very young I have been fascinated by all kinds of ships, from the smallest to the largest, but especially those old sailing ships of past centuries because I am very impressed by the structure, architecture and how they could create such wonders without being engineers, it is worth admiring.

Algunos sectores estaban cerrados, como el sector del timón, pero en otra ocasión que lo visite si pude tomarme una fotografía junto a él y aquí se las comparto, son algo viejas.

Some areas were closed, such as the helm area, but on another occasion I was able to take a picture with him and here I share them with you, they are a little old.

Hoy en día son museos con material, objetos, fotografías, muebles y utensilios antiguos bien conservados y expuestos en vitrinas para que el público pueda contemplar algo del pasado marítimo argentino. Se siente la emoción cuando ingresas a un buque del siglo XIX y pensar en los grandes viajes que realizo, las aventuras y riesgos a los cuales se enfrento es algo inimaginable.

Today they are museums with material, objects, photographs, furniture and antique utensils well preserved and exhibited in showcases so that the public can contemplate something of Argentina's maritime past. You can feel the emotion when you enter a 19th century ship and think of the great voyages it made, the adventures and risks it faced is something unimaginable.

A todo esto, si me gustan los barcos debe gustarme también el océano, y de hecho sí, me encanta pero lo respeto muchísimo y por eso nunca me atrevería a desafiarlo navegando por mi cuenta cuando no sé nada de navegación. ¡Que irónico que me gusten las embarcaciones pero sepa casi nada de las mismas! Así que deduzco que mi fascinación pasa por el lado de los ojos mas no del cómo funciona, aunque admito que si hubiese tenido la oportunidad de estudiar y dedicarme a la navegación lo habría hecho.

In all this, if I like boats I must also like the ocean, and in fact yes, I love it but I respect it very much and that is why I would never dare to challenge it by sailing on my own when I know nothing about sailing. How ironic that I like boats but I know almost nothing about them! So I deduce that my fascination is on the side of the eyes but not on how it works, although I admit that if I had had the opportunity to study and dedicate myself to sailing I would have done it.

Con esto dicho, Buhito y yo los invitamos a recorrer el pasado de este hermoso buque, aunque me quede con las ganas de mostrarles el otro pero hasta Octubre no estará abierto al público. Aun así espero que disfruten de este y les agradecemos su acompañamiento.
