Germans are closing there eyes again.

When I discuss with friends what I think is an important turnaround in CO2 emissions, I usually get the comment:
"Eh, first the others. We consume just 1% of the world's CO2. China should start first."

And in most cases these friends are really intelligent people with degrees and their own companies.

Where does the mistake lie?

Actually, I almost always feel ashamed when I have to explain the difference between China and Germany. Could it be that China is a bit bigger than Germany and has more inhabitants? It's just a guess maybe.

Per capita, China is now better than Germany.

According to their thinking, we would only have to act if we in Germany consumed the same amount as China.

Wow, I can imagine what life would be like here then. Everyone would be walking around with gas masks, visibility would be barely 10 metres because the smog would cloud everything, and most flats would be under a factory.
But only when the rich can no longer buy a place by a lake because power plants now need the space there, then we will have to act.
Could it be too late then??
No. Then I'm sure there are countries somewhere that have done it better from the start, that let you live there for a lot of money. Alternatively, you fly to the moon.

There is a challenge to use the rubbish bins properly. Unfortunately, it happens far too often that people just throw their rubbish, cigarettes or other things on the floor and leave them there.

This rubbish then goes somewhere, but not where it belongs.
You often see green parks in the city where rubbish patches have formed.

If we all dispose of our rubbish properly, we can already beautify a large part of these places without any effort.
In addition, the animals in nature are also better off. It is not there fault, but they eat some of it.

The challenge of @eddwood is about simply showing how to dispose of rubbish properly.
You don't have to write a long post. Just take a picture of how you dispose of your waste outside your own four walls.
Post the picture as a comment under the challenge and you're done.

With a bit of luck, others will see it and do the right thing.
Every waste that is disposed of correctly and does not end up in nature is a benefit for all of us.
