So I have been very epileptic with my coming around the community these days.
And it's not because I want to. There have been son much happening recently with me, that I just could not keep up.
More so, I still haven't fixed my saxophone yet after it got involved in an accident late last year.
I haven't even played the saxophone in almost 6 months. I planned to pick up the bass guitar pending when I'm able to fix my sax or get another one but I haven't even done anything close.
So I decided to find some solace in tryong out singing again.
This time I decided to sing a song for a very dear person to me who was celebrating her birthday recently as a gift for her.
We've had quite some time together. I didn鈥檛 have much to give as a sunstantial gift to her so I decided to compose a song for her
I composed the song reflecting on what I considered as the best form of encouragement for her through whatever season she might be going through.
And she sure did love the song from start to finish.
I hope you love it too and it encourages you.
Here were the lyrics:
VERSE
Is life taking a toll on you?
Many things seem not to work
Promises may seem to fail
But God is got you anyway
Life might not be a bed of roses
But there's more than that, can't you see
Everything might seem to go wayward
But everything's gonna work out for your good
REFRAIN:
On this day,
I hope you see God working
On this day,
I hope you see this awakening
On this day,
I hope you rest on hope
On this day,
A hope that's always gold
