Greetings to the great musical friends of the community, I am once again here pleased and blessed by all the love that is breathed here, it is no secret the great work that is being done here, added to that great event that recently took place which is the SongChallenge in its first edition, where great artists joined to create something unique and beautiful, congratulations.

Today I bring you a song of one of my favorite bands in Latin America, that is Maná, with their emblematic song "En el muelle de San Blas", this song is very heartbreaking, I can not help but feel so moved because it is a true story, this woman waited for years for her beloved at the pier of a coastal town in Mexico, hoping that someday he would return, much was done for her to give it up because apparently her lover was not going to return. This story reached far and that is when the group Maná met her, at that time they wanted to make a tribute to this story so sad and beautiful at the same time.

Saludos a los grandes amigos musicales de la comunidad, me encuentro una vez más acá complacida y bendecida por todo el amor que aquí se respira, no es secreto el gran trabajo que aquí se viene haciendo, sumado a ese gran evento que recientemente se realizó que es el SongChallenge en su primera edición, donde grandes artistas se sumaron a crear algo único y hermoso, felicidades.

El día de hoy les traigo un tema de una de mis bandas favoritas de Latinoamérica, esa es Maná, con su tema emblemático “En el muelle de San Blas”, esta canción es muy desgarradora, no puedo dejar de sentirme tan conmovida por que es una historia real, esta mujer espero por años a su amado en el muelle de un pueblo costero de México, esperando que algún día volviera, mucho se hizo para que ella desistiera de ello ya que al parecer su enamorado no iba a regresar. Esta historia llegó lejos y es cuando la conoció la agrupación Maná, en ese momento quisieron hacer un homenaje sobre ésta historia tan triste y bonita a la vez.

The lyrics talk about a woman who was waiting for her fiancé, watching and waiting on that pier, they called her la loca del muelle de san Blas (the crazy woman of the pier of San Blas) as the song says. The song belongs to the album called Sueños Líquidos and was released in 1997, this is one of the most acclaimed albums of the band that undoubtedly does not go out of fashion and always leaves vibrating every stage or concert where they perform. Previously I have brought songs of this group that undoubtedly will always be an honor for me to cover them, I do not think they will ever be at the height of the original, but what I am sure is that it has been with all the humility and affection.

La letra habla de una mujer que esperaba a su prometido, mirando y esperando en ese muelle, le decían la loca del muelle de san Blas tal cual como dice la canción. El tema pertenece al álbum llamado Sueños Líquidos y fue lanzado en el año 1997, este es uno del disco más aclamado de la banda que sin dudas no pasa de moda y deja siempre vibrando cada escenario o concierto donde se presenta. Anteriormente he traído temas de esta agrupación que sin dudas siempre será para mí un honor versionarlas, no creo que jamás estén a la altura de la original, pero lo que si estoy segura es que ha sido con todo la humildad y cariño.
