Greetings to everyone in this prestigious community! It's nice to be present once again. "Así fue", is the theme that I have brought in week 82 of the Hive Music Festival, it is a song originally from the incomparable singer-songwriter Alberto Aguilera Valadez, better known as Juan Gabriel, I must say that the interpretation of this song in Bellas Artes, Mexico in 2013, was one of the most beautiful and impactful things I have ever seen. It made my skin crawl, and made me think that we truly lost a super artist but one who left a wonderful musical legacy for all generations in Latin America.

The lyrics of this song are quite harsh, as the person is telling the other person that love is over forever, but no doubt that in the past he/she loved him/her with all his/her strength, but it's over and it's over. This can be very painful to accept if one of those people is still clinging, as in the case of these lyrics.

Es lindo hacer presencia una vez más. “Así fue”, es el tema que he traído en la semana 82 del Hive Music Festival, es una canción originaria del inigualable cantautor Alberto Aguilera Valadez, mejor conocido como Juan Gabriel, debo decir que la interpretación de esta canción en Bellas Artes, México en el año 2013, fue de las cosas más hermosas e impactantes que he visto. Se eriza la piel, y me hizo pensar que de verdad perdimos a uno súper artista pero que dejo un maravilloso legado musical para todas las generaciones en Latinoamérica.

La letra de esta canción es bastante dura, ya que esa persona le dice a la otra que ya el amor termino para siempre, pero que sin dudas que en el pasado lo amo con todas sus fuerzas, pero simplemente se acabó y ya paso. Ello puede ser muy doloroso de aceptar si una de esas personas aún se encuentra aferrada, como en el caso de esta letra.

The interpreter asks him to please not to hurt himself anymore and to forgive him if he makes him suffer for not loving him anymore, but it is something that even he cannot control since he found a new love that restarted everything for him, so for the good of both of them it is better to follow different paths. Of course it must be very hard to live a situation like this, however, in my thinking when someone is touched like this, it is better that, even if it hurts to take a step aside, taking care of the mental health of both people that above all is the priority.

This song is one of Juanga's many beautiful songs, it was released in 1998, I have to mention that I wanted to make a version more inspired by the singer Dread Mar I, because I loved the tone he chose and I felt more in tune with the song. El intérprete le pide que por favor ya no se haga daño y que le perdone si le hace sufrir por no quererle más, pero es algo que ni él puede controlar ya que encontró un nuevo amor que reinicio todo para él, así que por el bien de ambos es mejor seguir por diferentes caminos. Por supuesto que debe ser muy duro vivir una situación así, sin embargo, en mi pensar cuando a alguien le toca así, es mejor que, aunque duela dar un paso al costado, cuidando la salud mental de ambas personas que sobre todo es la prioridad.

Este tema es de los tantos hermosos de Juanga, fue lanzado en el año 1998, he de mencionar que quise hacer una versión más inspirada en el cantante Dread Mar I, ya que amé el tono que eligió y me sentí más compenetrada con la canción. Un millón de gracias por todo el cariño que me brindan semana a semana, y gracias totales a los moderadores que sin ellos nada fuera posible también. ¡Un abrazo!
