Un cordial saludo musical.

Mes de Diciembre, mes en donde reina la alegría, el amor y la paz entre hermanos, para la mayoría de las personas, así debería ser para todos y en todo el mundo. Venezuela, es un país tropical en donde hay dos estaciones, período de lluvias (invierno) y período de sequía (verano), es por ello que casi siempre tenemos un buen clima. A diferencia de otrs países del mundo en donde existen las cuatro estaciones y en esta época del año cae nieve y es invierno, paradójicamente en Chile está haciendo un calor terrible, tengo una hermana que vive allá. Pero esto no quiere decir que no conozcamos la nieve, Venezuela, en su variedad de clima tropical, tiene también zonas frías por la altitud, como en la zona de los Andes y si quieres tocar y sentir la nieve puedes ir en los meses de Julio y Agosto y experimentarlo.
Como he dicho en otros artículos, en este mes de Diciembre se escucha much la gaita zuliana en toda Venezuela y es llamada La Reina del Folklore, preferiría llamarla Reina de la Tradición con todo el respeto a los gaiteros.

Así que en esta presentación lo hago con una bonita gaita zuliana del compositor Renato Alonso Aguirre González (El Poeta Diamantino). Esta gaita fue lanzada en el año 1980 por una agrupación famosa en el Zulia llamada La universidad de la gaita. Como la mayoría de los músicos, también pasé por un grupo de gaitas tocando la tambora y fue una experiencia extraordinaria.

Ahora toco la gaita pero con mi mandolina.

Month of December, the month where joy, love and peace between brothers reign, for the majority of people, so it should be for everyone and throughout the world. Venezuela is a tropical country where there are two seasons, the rainy season (winter) and the dry season (summer), which is why we almost always have good weather. Unlike other countries in the world where there are four seasons and at this time of year it snows and it is winter, paradoxically in Chile it is terribly hot, I have a sister who lives there. But this does not mean that we do not know snow, Venezuela, in its variety of tropical climate, also has cold areas due to altitude, such as in the Andes area and if you want to touch and feel the snow you can go in the months of July and August and experience it.
As I have said in other articles, in this month of December the Zulian bagpipe is heard a lot throughout Venezuela and it is called The Queen of Folklore, I would prefer to call it the Queen of Tradition with all due respect to the bagpipers.

So in this presentation I do it with a beautiful Zulia bagpipe by the composer Renato Alonso Aguirre González (El Poeta Diamantino). This zulian gaita was released in 1980 by a famous group in Zulia called La Universidad de la gaita. Like most musicians, I also went through a group of bagpipes playing the tambora and it was an extraordinary experience.
