RETROGAMEPLAY ASTYANAX Una joya escondida de la NES (ESP/ENG)

Feliz día mañana o tarde a todos los gamers amantes de los juegos retro.

En este retrogameplay he decidido salirme de la norma y en vez de compartir los juegos que fueron hits en su momento, me motivo mas desenterrar joyas escondidas en el mundo de los 8 bits que pocas personas llegarona conocer pero resultan ser obras maestras tanto en diseño, gameplay, sonido y otros apartados considerando las limitaciones de la consola NES.

Les hablo de un juegazo de plataformas titulado Astyanax. Este juego de acción me encantó desde la primera vez que lo jugué pues era lo más parecido al castlevania en su momento. La mecánica es diferente dado que en vez de un látigo usas una espada, pero la acción es non stop, y el soundtrack es espectacular, con melodías y canciones super pegajosas que te motivan a seguir repartiendo espadazos y hachazos por todos lados.

La verdad es que no recuerdo a ciencia cierta si llegué a pasarlo cuando era chico pero me lo estoy planteando en este momento como un reto personal. Lo que si es que en este gameplay llegue bastante lejos tomando en consideración que lo jugue en una sola pasada y que logre recordar muchas de las trampitas que te ponen en cada escena.

Definitivamente a pesar de los años Astyanax es un juego que no ha envejecido mal, inicias la partida y cuando empiezas a entender la mecánica de la barra de poder y comienzas a avanzar en la primera escena te enganchas y decides seguir hasta el final, sorteando enemigos y trampas a lo largo de sus escenarios, y vuelvo a insistir con la música, es muy motivadora y hasta te hace creer que eres el mismo guerrero repartiendo espadazos. Creo que me dedicaré a traer juegos no tan conocidos pues de verdad hay muchas joyas de consolas antiguas que nunca tuvieron la popularidad que merecían. Es una oportunidad de verlos con otra óptica y dado que los juegos con estética retro están siendo tendencia según los lanzamientos de compañías de videojuegos independientes actuales, pues me parece más genuino y accesible poder redescubrir estos juegazos.

In this retrogameplay I have decided to go out of the norm and instead of sharing the games that were hits at the time, I'm more motivated to unearth hidden gems in the world of the 8 bits that few people got to know but turn out to be masterpieces in design, gameplay, sound and other aspects considering the limitations of the NES console.

I'm talking about a great platform game called Astyanax. I loved this action game from the first time I played it because it was the closest thing to castlevania at the time. The mechanics are different since instead of a whip you use a sword, but the action is non stop, and the soundtrack is spectacular, with super catchy melodies and songs that motivate you to keep on swinging swords and axes all over the place.

The truth is that I do not remember for sure if I got to pass it when I was a kid but I am considering it at this time as a personal challenge. What I do know is that in this gameplay I got pretty far taking into consideration that I played it in a single playthrough and that I managed to remember many of the little traps they put in each scene.

Definitely despite the years Astyanax is a game that has not aged badly, you start the game and when you begin to understand the mechanics of the power bar and begin to advance in the first scene you get hooked and decide to continue until the end, avoiding enemies and traps along its scenarios, and I insist again with the music, it is very motivating and even makes you believe that you are the same warrior dealing swords. I think I will dedicate myself to bring games that are not so well known because there are really many gems of old consoles that never had the popularity they deserved. It is an opportunity to see them with a different point of view and given that games with retro aesthetics are being a trend according to the releases of current independent video game companies, it seems to me more genuine and accessible to rediscover these great games.
