Good day friends of Hive Open Mic Community. Welcome to Hive Open Mic Week 167. The theme of the week says "Otaku".

For Hive Open Mic 167, we will explore the following theme: "Otaku." This is a unique Japanese word describing the fans of anime. This theme is chosen by our community's recent Spotlight Artist: @eudarcabello. Everyone is encouraged to express and connect through: Otaku.

I understand this theme to mean lovers of animation. During my early childhood stage, I enjoyed a variety of animation based shows. One of my favourites of such productions is Barbie. As a lover of art and music, I was drawn by the music. I loved every bit of it and I learnt to sing along each time I watched the movie again.

I have chosen to sing one of the songs in the anime production. The title of the song is "I Need To Know".
