An end of year game day with friends

Hey guys, last night my phone showed me this album of a Game Day my friends and I did somewhere about a week and few days ago to mark the end of the year. We played a variety of games.

But before the games, a friend and I went by a Lounge nearby to pick up some Pizza, drinks and Ice for the occasion.

The manager of the lounge gave us this ginger drink to enjoy whiles we wait for the Pizza. As expected, the drink was BITTER! We ended up leaving it there after taking like 2 sips at most each. Lol

In a few minutes, the Pizza was ready and we took off to meet the others at the venue we picked. It was at the house of one of my friends.

Upon arrival, we went straight to playing. We started with Ludo and Uno (I’m sure you know what these are).

Next, we did some pick and act. For the pick and act, we divided ourselves randomly into two teams: Team A and B.

Then we had the acts written and folded into a bowl. A member from each team would pick an act, and act it out for their group to identify. My group lost this game because for some reason, we kept picking very difficult acts. I picked Caterpillar for one of my acts. How tf do you act caterpillar?😂

After Pick and Act, we played Never Have I Ever. This part is not in the video because I forgot to record. I was too busy finding out the no good my friends have been up to.😂

After this round of refreshment rolled out, we played an instructions game. This game was all about following following instructions about touching parts of your body. Head, eyes, nose, shoulder, knees and toes. So the lead would mention a part of the body, and you’re expected to touch it. There was a cup between every two people, and the end goal was to see who would be able to pick up the cup when the lead says “cup”.

Then we played Simon Said next. It’s very similar to the instructions game I just explained, except, there’s no cup with this one. With this game, one of you basically becomes a character called Simon. Then he says “Simon says …..” and you have to do what Simon says. If he doesn’t say “Simon said …” but simply says “Do …” you’re not supposed to do it. You’re supposed to only take instructions from Simon. So for instance, if he says “Simon says touch your head”, everyone touches their head. But if he says “Touch your Head”, no one touches their Head. As a matter of fact, no one should flinch. We kept eliminating people until there were only two people left. It was very difficult playing this one because it required immense attention and fast response.

Then we played Truth or Dare next. Truth or Dare was wild, but what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, so no tea for you guys unfortunately.😂😂

To ensure that everyone doesn’t pick truth, we created a rule where after every two Truths, the next person automatically had to choose a Dare.

In between games, we refilled empty bowls with popcorn, served new rounds of Pizza and drinks. To keep everyone’s mouths busy.

Next we played Beer Pong. But in our case, we replaced the drink with a soft drink. For this game, you’re supposed to bounce the ball into a cup filled with a drink, and the opponent drinks it. The goal is to bounce as many balls as possible into cups, so your opponent drinks too much. Lol

After this, we opened a free style game floor where everyone played whatever game they wanted to play. We had scrabble, Ludo, Uno, and this Candle Blowing thingy. I joined the nerdy group to play Scrabble first, and joined the Candle people later. The popcorn was all over the place at this point.😂
